The piazza is truly walled in but gives lovely views of Atrani, and is steps from the beach, thus it is the center of life in Atrani.
Piazzetta Umberto I was a lucky find, being right on the main plaza off the beach we thought it would be more touristy, but were pleased to find it was authentic and excellent quality.

Quite a steep walk to the upper part of the town, but you are rewarded with a small, beautifully set out and exquisitely maintained garden and breathtaking views along the coast.
This is the best venue for a ceremony, the views are awesome and the gardens themselves are very pretty, plenty of space for a large wedding too.
