A few shady spots with palm trees to hang out when you need a break from the sun.Written March 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark DPortishead, UK1,597 contributionsReally lovely place to relax on the beach or under the trees and swim.
There are lifeguards and litter bins and bars/restaurants.
Very beautiful, clean beach which seems less busy than playa Santa Teresa nearby.

Our host said it would be to long for our childs 3/5. They enjoyed the boat ride, saw whales, were snorkeling, had a great lunch on the island, had a bath , naught great seafood for a barbecue und hit back with the boat. And the price was also ok. 200$ for 2 adults and 2 children.

I have suffered thru various treatments to relieve the pain; numerous types of massage, dry needling, chiropractic sessions, physio therapy etc. None of these helped the pain for more than a few days. Julie is a MASTER of massage and helped me open up the neck and free up other parts of my body that were tight. After experiencing 40 years of massage, I thought I knew every technique but Julie surprised me with some new twists that definitely released the bound up muscles. My husband (who is also a massage veteran) experienced the same relief when he had his massage. If you want one of the greatest massages you will ever experience, book with Julie.Written February 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OnAir398596693892 contributionsWhat an incredible experience all around! I cannot express enough wonderful things about this retreat. Sandra guides such an inspiring, physical, and spiritual yoga practice which combined with her experience and knowledge makes such a transformative experience. She is also very knowledgeable about the area and provides ample opportunities and suggestions for exploring and adventures! She also provided very detailed information prior to the retreat which I found so helpful in my planning
The food provided by our chef was 5-star delicious and nutritious! The accommodations were so beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff at the retreat were accommodating and friendly. I attended the retreat solo and felt welcome upon arrival and throughout the retreat. I met wonderful, like-minded souls and left feeling renewed, inspired, and transformed. I plan to do future retreats with Vajara Sol. I can't wait!Written February 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I had so much tension in my neck.
She is a mix of thaï and herself Which is very profond and deep. I love it.
For me she is more than a massage therapist… She can read you… and deeply Connect with you , body and soul.

My mind gets really busy, but within a few minutes - Katie has this fantastic gift to make you feel relaxed and at peace (the massage also helps!). My skin is always glowing and healthy when I leave - and I always have compliments on how radiant I look. I've had a lot of facials in my time, but this is by far the best I've ever had. You will be missing out if you don't book an appointment with Katie (make sure you get the facial with the eye mask - it feels amazing!).Written February 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Barbara S5 contributionsI took Chef Jo's cooking class at the Tea House near Hermosa beach. I was surprised at first that we didn't get to participate in the cooking but Chef Jo kept us all attentive by her knowledge of cooking and of the ingredients that she used. She also gave many good cooking tips! She answered questions and took suggestions from the group. It was overall a good time had by all and the food was outstanding. It was not only beautiful but delicious. She demonstrated fixing a roasted beet salad and lemon cheesecake with pecan crust. Then we sat outside and ate our delicious, healthy food.Written January 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mike JVancouver, Canada2 contributionsPart of the experience of Santa Teresa is doing a yoga class. I did one today with Joelle, who is amazing. One thing about Santa Teresa is that it's a young person's scene (yoga included) and I'm 61, but Joelle made me feel right at home. Also the view is incredible.Written March 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
