- Feeling Pura VidaSanta Teresa, Costa Rica18 contributionsThis beach is a MUST when visiting Santa Teresa. If you are looking for waves and for a palm tree to relax after your session, this is the spot. Walking to the North, natural pools can be found in low tide. Take water and fruit with you, there is no restorant at the beach! Two parking available, South and North!Written June 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Gwen S11 contributionsExcellent stay! The bungalows were very secluded outside of town! Wonderful place! They took great care of our crew! The staff were Johnny on the spot for every request!Written March 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark DPortishead, UK1,042 contributionsReally lovely place to relax on the beach or under the trees and swim.
There are lifeguards and litter bins and bars/restaurants.
Very beautiful, clean beach which seems less busy than playa Santa Teresa nearby.

- May K4 contributionsWe took a family (with our 2 daughters- 9 years old and 7 years old) class with Maayan. The class was so much fun, and Maayan was amazing with the girls and with us. We highly recommend it! Thanks!!!Written April 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- benOberammergau, Germany7 contributionsWe did a tortuga island tour with Zuma. It was the greatest day we had here yet.
Our host said it would be to long for our childs 3/5. They enjoyed the boat ride, saw whales, were snorkeling, had a great lunch on the island, had a bath , naught great seafood for a barbecue und hit back with the boat. And the price was also ok. 200$ for 2 adults and 2 children.

The experience, orchestrated by Sandra Tedeschi, was absolutely wonderful and exceeded any expectations. If you enjoy yoga, nature, wildlife, outdoor activities, delicious cuisine and spending time with fun & interesting people you will LOVE this experience! The age range of participants in our group was 25 - 75. Beginner to experienced yogis. Singles, couples and me with my daughter.
Sandra Tedeschi, the owner/trip leader, is a beautiful person inside and out. Every little detail of this incredible retreat was handled with grace and ease.
The Lodge is only accessible by boat. You take a small plane from San Jose Regional Airport to Golfito then shuttle to the marina where a boat transports you to the Lodge. You may see dolphins swimming next to your boat on the 30 minute ride. We did, and a sea turtle. There are also whales there in the fall. On another boat ride we saw a couple of gorgeous toucans flying along the coast.
Upon arrival you are greeted and given an orientation and shown to your room or casita. The lovely rooms are open air with beautiful views of the ocean. The Lodge staff were all very courteous, hard working, friendly, helpful. Most spoke/understood English. Tomas gives a fabulous Thai massage. I didn't try any of the other spa services. The laundry service was great.
We were woken every morning by the howler monkeys. It is an incredible, haunting experience. The sounds put out by these relatively small monkeys are enormous... shocking actually.
3 great meals a day in our own dining area and happy hour before dinner. Yoga, led by Sandra, usually twice a day on a platform in the woods overlooking the beach. Gorgeous setting!!!
The other activities you could participate in included kayaking, SUP, hiking, snorkeling and swimming.

They were very welcoming and accommodating, and it was followed by an incredible hour of relaxation in late afternoon. The music from the bar beside them was relaxing and entrancing, as the massage worked the best tensions completely away. We did this as a couples massage which made it extra enjoyable to then walk right into the ocean for a sunset swim. Thank you again!Written March 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Veronica made me feel comfortable from the start, explaining the basics before going in the water and cheering every time I managed to catch a wave. - Laura S2 contributionsJoanne is brilliant! She is the epitome of a Costa Rican soul and had so many amazing and interesting things to share. My sister and I planned a health retreat with Joanne through the Healing Cuisine as well as attended her classes. The food was local, fresh, healthy and delightful. Her classes were informative, fun, and delicious! So much culture, education, knowledge and love went into these classes and the cleanse and made it an incredible experience!Written May 29, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JuliaSan Sebastian - Donostia, Spain5 contributionsI booked two sessions with them a few weeks ago and left super satisfied. Daniel was so kind and accommodating. I have problems in my lower back, and he was very attentive of it - checking every once in a while if I was in some kind of pain. The massage was amazing and such a relief. Made my trip so much better. I will definitely go back and recommend that you do too ♥️ Thank you and have a wonderful yearWritten January 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
