Walking the sand bars, finding tons of hermit crabs and a horseshoe crab and learning that there's otters living in the grasses is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers alike.
I absolutely recommend taking this airboat ride, as it’s so much more than just a ride, it’s an adventure where you can see unique spots, take exclusive pictures, and learn some fascinating details about the area!

Captain Tami and her crew created a once-in-a-lifetime fun morning for 10 of us -- 5 40-something adults and 5 tween kids -- even when most of us are 20+-year veterans of summering in the Outer Banks every year.

Nate was the perfect tour guide--we learned about the sound and it's inhabitants, enjoyed stunning scenery, and saw a bunch of critters--from osprey to nutria to a bald eagle--all from the comfort of our kayaks!
Coastal Creations was a great little company to do a SUP tour in the OBX! Cooper, our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area, it’s wildlife and plant life.

Even so, the Guide and particularly the Captain did a great job telling stories and answering questions about the local geography, history, population, points of interest, and dolphins in particular.
In addition my husband uses a wheelchair and the ride was easily accessed and all the staff including those on the boat were helpful and assisted us in getting easily on and off the boat and the dock.

Captain Dan allowed my grandsons, ages 6 and 9, to be "Captain" and sail the boat ... All the while explaining what to do in a friendly and educational manner.
Fun to talk with and enjoy a beautiful sailing trip, Capt Dan may even let you take the wheel.

Great service by pop pop - he really enjoys giving the kids a great time on the boats He also suggested a jet ski tour which sounded great but we didn’t have time for that
We chose the tour so we could really see the local areas as we were first time visitors to OBX The paperwork process was quick and thorough and we were on our way after a quick safety and trip briefing.

Had a wonderful afternoon with Captain Dave! Went clamming, shell hunting and to top the afternoon off, found some sand dollars on an island that had my favorite bird too, the pelican (many).
We saw dolphins swimming in the sound and we all found clams (& advice on cooking and keeping them fresh) which we made a wonderful seafood stew with that was delicious!

Marc has a perfect personality for this - he has an awesome boat, he has technical skill, and a very friendly way with guests, he was terrific with my son.
Both Captain Marc and Wesley were exceptional at engaging the boys, teaching them what to do and getting them involved hands-on .

The crew was nice and made sure everyone's nerves were at ease, that we were all safe, and all having a blast from check in to the shuttle boat to the parasail boat.
For us there is the fun of parasailing but also the joy of riding in the boat while others do what you just did or are about to do.

The results exceeded my highest expectations for success!!! Kiting with Tightlinez was the highlight of my vacation and I would recommend them to anyone interested in taking their skills to the next level and beyond!
We also got to explore the sandbar that runs along Hatteras Island (so cool to stand ankle-deep in the water while being way out in Pamlico Sound!).
#23 of 162 Boat Tours & Water Sports in Outer Banks
We were lucky enough to find a LOT of dolphins during our ride, and the Captain turned the boat off multiple times so we could snap pictures, take videos, and enjoy the peaceful sights.
We went by the Bodie Lighthouse, the Manteo waterfront, s curves through the marsh, saw dolphins, and played outside Jockey's Ridge.

First mate Bobalama was terrific with the kids as well helping them land their first fish!! Would highly recommend the Rock Soild and Aaron Kelly to anyone looking for a special fishing experience!!! Thanks again...
Captain Kelly annually takes my husband on adventurous Cobia trips early in the season, but for Blake, we wanted a little gentler introduction to fighting a fish!!
