    Excellent!
    Very happy with our City of Contrasts tour led by Sebastian, who drove the van in a very safe, friendly and confident manner. He even managed to do the tour both in fluent American English and Spanish and provided us with loads of interesting facts about NYC and its boroughs. The only downside might be the difficulty in following for non-native speakers of English and Spanish, as Sebastian spoke a bit fast! You needed a good level of English and/or Spanish to follow really. Small van and small group, which made it even more pleasant really. Highly recommendable for a little extra info about NYC.

    Walk ,Talk and nibble - Great Day!!!
    Informative, I am native New Yorker- Brooklyn , so the history really new to me and my cousin, a Canadian loves history.
    The food portion was excellent for non - sit down and just consume; we tasted and walk off the calories- YEA !

    Very good value for money
    This works well on some experiences better than others. If you're able to make a reservation in advance then it's definitely worth doing those. Others like the Yankees tickets and the ON/Off Bus Tours were very difficult to use as the queues were huge and would have taken a couple of hours to get in.

    Contrasts Tour
    Adrian was awesome and we thoroughly going on this trip with him in his mini van we got a really good experience of the contrasts of NY and he was so nice and polite and interesting

    Not to be missed if you love food, cultural diversity, and local history
    We SO enjoyed this tour. All the food we sampled was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, so skip breakfast and pace yourself! Our guide Sierra was incredibly knowledgeable about the food itself, the culture from which it came, and the history of the area. It was really nice to see the relationship that Sierra has formed with the small business owners whose shops we stopped at - the mutual respect and appreciation was evident. Sierra checked in often to see how we were doing, if we needed water, the restroom, etc. We learned so much and will absolutely be taking more tours through Culinary Backstreets in the future.

    The best BBQ tour!
    Cara D. was an enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable guide who responded to the questions and needs of those on tour with a positive and accommodating manner. The tour itself was an eye-opener to the ‘real’ New York beyond Manhattan and well worth it!

    Surf lesson
    I’ve been searching for a long time where I could surf in New York and found Sierra surf school. Signed up with my friend and were satisfied with the lesson. David (instructor) explained very clearly and simply that we could stand on the board and catch the wave in the first lesson! We are so happy and excited that after a couple of weeks we’ll come back again. Can’t wait!

    Awesome fun!
    This was FUN!!! There were 5 of us, and we all agreed the sunset tour on Sunday night was an awesome way to end the wknd. The guides were great. Views were pretty. Jet skis were really nice ones. Can't wait to go again.

    Great Experience
    Just got back from our 4 hour tour of the NY harbor and my mind is blown. Huge thanks to our guide Anthony. I want to sit hear and talk about the fact that he’s, fun, talented and cool as hell, but that would be a disservice to him, simply because he’s not only trying to entertain his guests, he has the tremendous responsibility of guiding people safely through one of the busiest Harbors in the world. Between ferry’s and tankers and police boats and sometimes minor debris, all while trying to navigate 4 novices on 40 mph jet skis,....this man is on point!
    I traveled through this Harbour with my 12 year old autistic son. When it comes to my kids safety,..I don’t fu** around. This man, through his hand communications with cruise ships at 30 mph, kept us safe and gave us a GREAT experience!!! Saw NY through a new set of eyes today! Thanks to all the great Rockaway Jet Ski crew and it’s very gracious owner. I’m a fan, grab some great Thai food at the restaurant later, maybe even stick around for the live music afterward. Love this place. God bless and keep the great vibes coming.......
