The ride itself was fine, and for once in my history with shared rides, I was the first to be dropped off! The driver was good, personable, and safe. The van was clean & comfortable. My only reason for not giving a 5 was the pick-up process at LaGuardia. I had made a reservation several days before. You're supposed to get your bags & go to the nearby area where phones are & call GO Airlink NYC to tell them you've arrived. The first call, I was put on hold & dropped. Once I figured out that I'd been dropped, I called again, and was put on hold again for a lengthy period of time. An airport employee staffing that area called for me also, and her call was picked up by a real person again before mine was, so she handed me the phone and I hung mine up. They couldn't find me, because though I spelled my name 3 times and offered a confirmation number, they weren't spelling it right. Finally, it clicked. All that took at least 35-40 minutes, then I waited 20 more minutes for the actual ride. He did not come in, as I was told he would, but he called on my cell and told me to hurry out a certain door. Luckily, I knew which door he was talking about, but another visitor might not have. So - once on the van, everything was copasetic. GETTING to that point was not, and it made me think twice about scheduling the next ride.
