What travelers are saying
- happylife_safariUtrecht, The Netherlands57 contributionsEven if you are not into plants and gardens, this is still a wonderful place to check out. While it is not free entry, it is obvious that the entry is to maintain the gardens. There is information available about the statues in multiple languages and stunning views of the sea. I recommend bringing a good book and taking advantage of the many chairs looking over the water.Written August 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Katie JWidnes, UK90 contributionsFenals is an absolutely beautiful beach, well worth the visit. Clean toilets are available and a range of shops for food and drinks.
Sun loungers and parasols are also available at a cost of €7 per item per day which, for us, was well worth it. There is also a range of water sports available for a fee.
It's worth noting that the beach isn't sand, more like very small pebbles/stones which get very hot to walk on during the day.
If you're a sea lover I'd also advise taking a snorkel to see all the small fish swimming around your feet - it really is beautiful.Written July 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Binoculars available but are very basic, fixed focus, and need to be back by 6.30. Paths very well maintained. Itinerary 1 is under shady trees. It’s about 4km to the beach along this route.Written July 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Kate M23 contributionsThere is a museum with lots of beautiful and old jewellry, pots and roman coins (200 silver dinarii). A highlight for us was seeing the Greek sculpture from the 2nd century BC, traditionally thought to be of Asclepius, God of medicine and son of Apollo and Coronis. According to myth he was entrusted to the centaur Kiron, who taught him the arts of medicine. Another exciting find was the Carrara marble head, which crowned a Hermes or pillar, with the representation of Bacchus or bearded Dionysius (Olymian God of Wine) and decorated with a vine tendril (1st Century).Written August 30, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chloe G15 contributionsGreat place, a little pricey but wonderful. I suggest the main restaurant not the burger bar. Great fun for most ages.Written August 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- HarpmjLancaster, UK96 contributionsVisited on a very hot day at the end of July. I am neither botanist nor horticulturalist so didn't appreciate much the wide range of plants to see, but it was all quite pretty. The views on the coast itself were very fine. If I had a gripe, it would be the cost of the refreshments at the cafe - more than 7 euros for a granita and an ice-cream, but it's a captive market I guess.Written August 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - janegardnerlondon485 contributionsThe house is 15 minute walk from Central cadaques in the tiny fishing hamlet of port lligat. Guided tours are in groups of no more than 8. Our guide spoke 3 languages as we were Spanish, French & English. You must book ahead - very easy process online. We reserved 2 weeks before & there were very few tickets left. You turn up half hour before your time slot with yr booking ref and get given tickets. If you're hanging around there's a nice cafe a bit further on the beach near the car parking. The tour took 1 and 1/2 hrs and is so interesting - time to look around in the house is limited but you do have the opportunity to take photos - they dont rush you too much. Garden & outside pool terraces you view on your own without the guide - so not rushed at all. Really amazing visit. Well worth the money. Its about £14 per person in sterling. Incidentally about half way between cadaques & port lligat is a little very lovely church to look in on if open. Lots of swift nests in the entrance - shade from the heat.Written June 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Narisaraporn PLuang Prabang, Laos177 contributionsWe were here 4 years ago. It is the most beautiful walk that I never forget. This time is more stunning because of the color of the sea in summer. - Florescu V4 contributionsA beautifully landscaped beach. The only problem is the parking. There is only one parking lot close to the beach, but it is insufficient for the large volume of tourists.Written July 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain9,932 contributionsPlage de Sa Tuna is a wonderful beach and coast located near Begur, a tiny town in Costa Brava, in Girona Region, in the North of Catalonia. I cam here from Begur following the coastal path and the views were incredible! Great! In the beach, there is a little accomodation with a restaurant called Sa Tuna, where you can eat very well and enjoy with views. For me, the best views are from Punta des Plom, from where you can see all coast, the beach, the very nice buildings and a tower. A fantastic picnic spot!

It's very unusual but so beautiful outside, we couldn't go inside but was still nice to see it from outside.Written July 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
