We used our Nuremberg Passes, the cost of the pass was 25€ which included all forms of transport and entry to all museums & attractions for 2 days, within the entire region of Nuremberg.
You get a discount when you buy a day ticket with which you can visit different museums in Nuremberg on the same day including the Dokumentationszentrum.

A short walk from the town centre and about a 20 minute walk from the train station, this museum is a fantastic day out, especially in good weather.
Wonderful museum!

It is a lovely walk up to the fortress, and it has two great museums, amazing views of the city, and a nice beer garden with excellent views to the north.
Bring a lot of time with you if you want to explore the inside of the fortresses museums.
