- midwestfoodietooMoline, IL32 contributionsAbsolutely outstanding. Fascinating, whether you care about plants or not. You really can't describe how impressive this botanical center is. It was the highlight of a destination-packed weekend in Cincy. Seriously under-priced at $10 admission. We could've spent many hours. Truly don't miss this, it's memorably impressive.Written November 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cenztOhio21,401 contributionsGreat trip. We arrived at approximately 6 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the trail. Parking was a little tricky to find and we actually had to park at a parking lot across the bridge in Kentucky. The trail was roughly 4.5 miles in length, however we weren’t able to walk the full trail due to time constraints. Instead, we started at Smale Riverfront Park and walked towards the Roebling Suspension Bridge. We were able to see sweeping views of both Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington, Kentucky, along with the Ohio River.
Tip: I recommend spending 30 minutes here (more if you want to walk the full trail) if you truly want to see everything.Written November 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a splendid view of and across the broad and placid Ohio river that goes on for quite a ways since the park is fairly long. There are numerous ornamental plants, large swing/benches facing the river, play equipment for children, bathrooms, picnic tables. The park is very clean and quite well-tended. We paid seven dollars for an hour and a half of parking across the street, but as others have mentioned there is free parking nearby if you have time to look for it (we didn’t).Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chattygirl7491Franklin Ohio11,526 contributionsOhhh today was perfect. I spent some time at the zoo but still had time and energy to go somewhere else. It was in the 70s with light breeze .. perfect sky. Would be a sin to waste this sort of day inside. On a gorgeous day and you're wanting a place to take a walk ... have you ever considered a cemetery. Some find this sad or even creepy location, but this is a beautiful peaceful safe place to stroll around. The older areas are my favorite I find alot of the monuments a piece of art. Sculptures, statues, fountains, lakes. variety of birds, frogs, dragonflies... might even see a bunny or deer. Just be mindful where you park ..it's easy to just stroll around and relieve your lost. I usually park somewhere around the lake, so I know a easy landmark to find my way back. Plus the lake is a good place to see birds and other wildlife.
This cemetery is also considered an arboretum and as such it changes with the seasons. fall and spring and gorgeous, but all seasons have something to make them special. Even winter .. in Ohio one day will be bitter cold the next very comfortable to walk. As with any place you walk have cell phone and water. I've even seen people having a picnic here. Just be respectful when anyone is there to honor someone who has passed ... give them their privacy but I'm sure you would have.Written July 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We opted to hike the Eden Park Outer Loop, which was a roughly 2 mile hike around the park. The trail started off at the Krohn Conservatory, and looped back to the same area, once we were done with the trail. One of the stops on our trail included a scenic overlook, with great views of the Ohio River and Kentucky. A portion of the trail consisted of walking alongside the road and crossing the street, where we were met by a water fountain feature. We continued our hike around the water fountain and then through a forest and some additional gardens.

Parking was a bit tricky to find, and our only option was to pay for street parking or to pay to park in an underground garage, directly underneath the park. On the day that we went, there were numerous vendors out and about, trying to sell various items from food to jewelry. There was also a small water feature area that was great for kids. The park was on the smaller side and quite crowded on the day that we went.

The quaint homes and lovely shops and restaurants is well worth spending an afternoon enjoying the "VIBE" of the village! - Maxim Photo StudioNashville, TN1 contributionAult Park is a fantastic Cincinnati venue for trips and events. There are two main garden areas, The garden of Roses and Brumm Gardens. The park is amazing when it's in full blook between April and October of each year. Also, there is a fountain between the steps leading up to the Pavilion area.
Ault Park is very well known for its access and beautiful landscapes. On a beautiful day be prepared to share your time there with many other sightseers.Written November 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We opted to hike the Garden Loop and Wetlands Loop trail which was a roughly 2.6 mile hike around the gardens. The trail was relatively easy and consisted of walking on a paved surface for a majority of the hike. The trail took us through a forest, with some scenic views of a creek. We did see a pretty large snake during the midpoint part of the trail that was blocking the walkway.
