We went on our tour 11/30/24 at 1:00. Our tour guide was great (fun, knowledgeable, shared personal and relevant family connections to Cincy, a great and safe driver, passionate about Cincy history, accommodating to the guests).
We had a very fun trip during our National Business Conference in Cincinnati. Being a local, it is tough to learn new things about the city, but not only was Miranda extremely knowledgeable, but also made the tour very fun! I would highly recommend if you want to learn something new about the Queen City.
Went on the Nightmare on Elm street tour. This is a mix of Cincinnati history and paranormal. Renee was our guide and she is very knowledgeable and does a great job. I’ve done other tours with American Legacy and they are fantastic. Worth it!
In the spring, we participated in a walking food tour in Montreal. The Cincinnati one was far superior! Our guide, Karen M, was amazing - so enthusiastic about the city, the food, and knowledgeable and fun. The food choices were perfect because they were a great blend of desserts, sides, and main dishes that also reflected Cincinnati history. Riding the street car is an added bonus of this experience.
Amazing ! Our guide was terrific! ! Fabulous info and took some pics for us so we’d have them ! The bites were unbelievable? I thought we’d share a waffle or had a taster of ice cream but Jackie had us all full size taste !! It was a little cold to start … Jackie made sure to reach out night before to say dress warm and ask about any dietary restrictions! Cannot say enough good things! Took the tour because I had friends visiting but this Cincy native learned a lot if her city too !
This is a wonderful tour of the Cincinnati ethnic food scene seasoned with the addition of the Christmas traditions of those cultures. Add in Jackie, an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and obvious lover of all things Cincinnati and you get one of the best food tours I've taken. It was just the right mix of food, Cincinnati history and holiday traditions.
5 Stars for the Cincinnati Christmas Streetcar Tour
My husband's great grandfather was a brewer at Jackson Brewery in the late 1800's, so we were excited to attend the Built on Beer Tour on 11-10-24 to go inside the brewery. The guide was knowledgeable and we learned new information. He was patience with answering our many questions and told us about the Cincinnati History Museum Library, where he volunteers, so we could learn more information about the brewery and his great grandfather. I would highly recommend the tour to learn about Cincinnati's brewery history.
Tour was very informative and fun. Lots of great info. Only downsides- your got a little drug out and one more tasting would have made the day perfect. Would definitely recommend if you have never been on a brewery tour.
Had a great time learning Cincy history while visiting some great local bars. Tour guide was excellent. Event was as described in ad and worth the money.
Kevin, our tour guide, was a Mt. Healthy native, had great humor and fun stories. As someone who grew up in the town it was a walk down memory lane and fun to hear tidbits of the history and darker side of the town - not spooky or scary though.
I'm a bit late, but I couldn't let this AMAZING tour go without a review! First of all, Laura is the best guide anyone could ask for. She was really friendly and accommodating. She taught us things about Findlay market and Cincinnati that I never knew. And I've lived in Cincinnati my entire life! But I digress. Laura took is to some spectacular restaurants! I even tried Goetta for the first time and it was really good! And she made sure to take plenty of pictures and emailed them to us once the tour was over. I would DEFINITELY recommend taking the food tour with Laura and I would give WAY more stars if I could!
This was an excellent food tour, and Anne was a wonderful tour guide! The selection of stops and the food choices were great - after starting with an interesting & informative orientation to Findlay Market as well as the history and culture of Cincinnati, we then enjoyed flavorful soup at the charming French Crust Cafe & Bistro, a delicious burger in the stylish Street City Urban Gourmet, a refreshing coffee from Urbana Cafe while enjoying the sights of downtown & Fountain Square, a fantastic taco & guacamole at Mazunte, and we finished with a rich waffle from Taste of Belgium for dessert!
