The luau show was engaging as well as informative- a great way to learn about the island.
My only trepidation was reading the reviews and learning that they were fairly new and that this luau was different from classic luaus that we are familiar with or shown in movies/tv shows.

I have long known that Hawaii Theatre has been recognized as an "Outstanding Historic Theatre in America and have often enjoyed performances there since it was beautifully restored and reopened in 1996.
The entire theatre is beautiful; there is art to look at everywhere from the walls to the top of the dome.

They have lots of snacks and alcoholic and soft drinks available for purchase; prices are reasonable and the profits go to the theatre.
