- GAFamilyTravelerATL, GA963 contributionsMy son is hooked on these cookies after our trip to Waikiki for the Thanksgiving holiday. We were actually sent in search of these cookies when my pal learned that we would be in the area. She had specific instructions and made sure we got her cookie card stamped. We couldn't leave Hawaii before making a purchase for her and then going back twice so my son could refill his cookie stock. Neat place, great service and I've already ordered more cookies as Christmas stocking stuffers for my teen. Next time we visit, I'll make sure to get a cookie card to earn some perks.Written December 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sightseer779040218 contributionsI found this shop while looking for places to shop at near the hotel that I was staying at. There are many different locations around the island. The employee was very friendly and was very quick to keep the shop stocked and looking clean and organized. They have many different gift boxes and gift tins. However, to get the most of your money, there are boxes that you can individually fill with the cookies you want. This is the most economical on cost per cookie. There are different size boxes ranging from 10-30 cookies to put in the box. Surprisingly, the best value is the 20 cookies box. When I went, they had around 11 different flavors, with 3 different seasonal flavors (fall flavors). So a box of 20 lets you get all 14 plus 6 repeats. To me this shop is a perfect way to try the shortbread cookies Hawaii is known for, and get a great gift for those at home. The reusable bag is 25 cents extra. They also have a stamp card for every $5 you spend and you can get a free gift after spending $50, although I never reached that high to see what it was. Maybe whenever I visit on my next trip, I will bring the stamp card back to get more gifts. I am excited to have a little sampling of the different flavors and create gift bags for family with the cookies I got in my box.Written November 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kaniconLos Angeles, CA719 contributionsA favorite souvenir for family and friends. This visit around, I found holiday additions that were too cute to pass up on. There were Valentine’s boxes and year of the tiger in anticipation of this upcoming lunar new year festivities. The salesperson told us only 3 stores on the island carried the year of the tiger box sets.Written January 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BHungerford22314 contributionsMy wife found this factory tour and we decided to give it a go. Having been consumers of their products we thought it would be a interesting to see how it was made.
We had no idea until we arrived that we were going to get to make our own box of chocolates. Very cool!
When we arrived we were greeted with smiles and almost a familiarity like we were old friends. The tour was very informative and interesting. I learned more about the process than I thought possible.
The family’s passion for what they do, concern for the future and knowledge was amazing. How often do you get a tour of a factory from the company president?
Thank you all! We had a blast and will return.Written February 22, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We lucked into finding it walking back to our hotel after a dinner down the street. When we said we had just had dinner the gal behind the counter suggested the Childs size. We both kinda laughed a little but took her recommendation. Wow am I glad we did. They were huge and we couldn't believe it for the price. Both of us couldn't even finish the kids size. They had a ton of delicious fresh flavors. We made sure to come back the next time super hungry so we could be sure to enjoy them to their fullest.Written May 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TweedleDeeHuntsville, AL408 contributionsDont think this is the same place but it is the same company. We went to the one in the Ala Moana center and they definetly have a much better selection of liquor and wine than any other store we saw during our trip. Was even able to get a bottle of Jack Daniels Single Barrel with a Tamura's Hawaii tag on it.Written March 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HudrockSaskatoon, Canada5 contributionsthis is an old school shop with OUTSTANDING service and the most charming vibe. the store itself is like an art gallery and the product is the best on earth. I have never wanted to own one of these hats until this experience. The owners are truly the best customer service I've ever had in America and the genuine pride they exhibit in their store makes you feel like family. I love this place and I love Lee and Jim are the nicest most knowledgeable persons, the information and personality are a memory that will never fade. My first time in Hawaii and overall as beautiful a place and the actual Hawaiian people are the best you can find but I found it as relaxing as a nightclub and the tourists here are unbearable. I would not come back so this review should be noted as this shop was the highlight of our trip.Written June 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mahalia1980Canada587 contributionsSwam with reef and Galapagos sharks. The water was extremely choppy, got banged up trying to hold myself up in the cage, banged my head quite a few times and came home quite bruised up. It was an amazing experience to have them come so close and look them in the eye. I am not one to get motion sickness but as soon as I got back on the boat I ran to the other side of the boat and tossed my cookies, when I looked up there was a line of us doing the same. Was a great experience to swim with the sharks but would go on a less choppy day if I knew that I could.Written January 20, 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - M&JRFort Worth, TX876 contributionsImpeccable customer service by sales rep Nobi. Very kind, helpful, patient, and dropped photos / items by Airdrop that interested me to my iPhone.
Shopped numerous Tiffany’s since 1972, but the Ala Moana Tiffany and Co is outstanding.

- WorldTravelers34Chicago, IL2,422 contributionsWaikiki Shopping Plaza is located on Kalakaua Avenue, the premier retail corridor of Honolulu. We walked through this shopping plaza several times as it is located very close to the Polynesian Residence where were staying. The shopping plaza is definitely targeted to the tourist realm. The stores are upper class and therefore highly priced. This 6-level shopping mall is a mix of businesses - travel services, restaurants, clothing, jewelry, and other retail.Written February 4, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
