Small Japanese department store that has a little of everything. The ceiling is worth stopping in and checking out as it’s quite stunning.

Great store, lots of selection just be careful walking in the area, and nothing open on Sunday for a coffee etc, before the walk back to ship

If you are travelling from Australia you will certainly appreciate NM for its excellent range of products and attentive service. Everything is clean, modern and professional.

I am very familiar with the "Nordstrom Rack" chain of department stores. I visited this store--located in the heart of Waikiki, just see how it might be the same (or different) from the Nordstrom Rack stores in my hometown.

The store location has good store front visibility on Kuhio. The entry leads to an escalator to the second story retail space.

This Nordstrom Rack is pretty much the same as those found in my hometown. The total square footage of this store is a bit smaller than what I typically see in a suburban situation--but this is in Waikiki. The amount of floor space dedicated to sunglasses and luggage is double what I typically see in a suburban store (probably catering to the tourists looking for such items). Also, this store has a "bulked up" selection of beach wear. For example, if you're looking for Reyn Spooner of Tommy Bahama, some good prices are to be found.

It was an interesting look around.

HORRIBLE STORE. Unkept shelving, no proper sorting of shelves was apparent. Watched a cockroach crawling across the checkout counter. Waited 20+ minutes 1st in line at checkout while the ONLY cashier argued with the lady trying to return an item! Was told by loss prevention that we had to go to that exit due to a shortage of cashiers. But. After 15 or so minutes of the cashier occasionally yelling out "long line" (thanks. We kinda noticed) she finally calls down 2 MORE CASHIERS who start serving people behind me in line??? I tossed the item I wanted on the counter and left. Doesn't matter how good the price is when customer service and hygiene is that atrocious.
