What travelers are saying
- Christine B45 contributionsThis is the largest cavern on the East Coast. The cavern is absolutely stunning and was the best cavern I have ever visited. I had a guided tour with Scott who was a plethora of information. There is also an organ that plays the stalagmites. Good place for families. I would highly recommend.Written October 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Carolyn M2 contributionsAwesome hike for all ages. And the panoramic view at the end is breathtaking. The children were so excited at reaching the rocks and looking at the view.Written July 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LounBeeVerona, WI64 contributionsHorses were old and mellow. We had a great time going through the woods at a slow pace. It was fun to experience these majestic animals. We were able to pet them beforehand and I scratched one and almost put it to sleep. There were about 8 in our group, so it was a nice and small group.Written October 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kate AMiddletown, CT321 contributionsWe did two tastings- one for the wines and one for the whiskey. Fred was incredibly knowledgeable and educated us on the process in which whiskey is made. My husband bought two different bottles of whiskey and he is excited to make some old fashioneds!Written August 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - R HPocono Lake, PA12 contributionsA slight detour off our road trip. Great burger and fries. If you like seeing unique places and liked the Duke's of Hazard, it is a must stop if passing nearby.Written September 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kevin WAltoona, AL222 contributionsFirst...it's not the big city zoo's....and to me that is fine. Most of these animal's are rescued animals that were pets. The owner knows alot about the care of animals that were pets and what would happen if you put these once pets in with wild animals...or in with other pets...it would not be a good thing.
My wife and I took the Discovery Tour and we were so glad we did. The reptiles on display is stellar because there are some I have never even heard of or seen before at big zoo's. We love being able to ask questions about the animals and getting answers where as at some bigger zoo's no one is found to ask.
It was so cool to pet a porcupine named Cuddles....feed Capuchin monkeys and a Lemur....be sure to see the Condor (a big and beautiful bird). Won't forget this place.Written June 3, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Definitely a pleasant thing to do while visiting the town.Written September 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cheri DYardville, NJ488 contributionsAwesome National Park. This is the southernmost end of it. We day hiked through various sections and brought in Subway sandwiches eating them at the Dundo camping and picnic area. Lots of birds were heard and seen in various sections of the park that we stopped at to hike or admire the fantastic views.Written January 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melinda MPowhatan, VA360 contributionsVery interesting museum and out buildings. The only original building to the property was the farmhouse, with the back portion of the house much older than the front portion. I was wondering if the back portion of the house originally was a log cabin covered with wood siding when the front section was built. That happened many times when a house was enlarged.
The barn was very large, but only a small portion of it was used for display. The blacksmith building actually had a blacksmith working, which was nice. The grounds were well laid out for displaying the buildings.Written August 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
