Peter is very knowledgeable and entertaining. The historical information he gave us was very interesting. The food was fantastic and filling. My husband liked the alcoholic drinks and they accommodated my non-alcoholic preference with yummy mocktails. Our group of six was thoroughly impressed with Jerald's extensive knowledge of the Pueblo Indians, Spanish explorers, and their combined influence on the vibrant culture and architecture we experienced around the plaza area.
Jerald's storytelling ranged from intriguing historical figures like Georgia O'Keeffe to the legendary J. Robert Oppenheimer, all while weaving in fascinating insights about New Mexico cuisine and architecture. His tour was not just informative but also personalized, featuring VIP treatment at three standout local spots. We enjoyed a delightful array of local flavors—pizza and wine, cocktails with tapas, and margaritas with tacos.
Jerald's dedication to providing an exceptional experience was evident throughout. If you have specific interests or special requests, he's more than willing to tailor the tour to fit your needs. We felt we were Ana's personal guests on the tour and were treated like a friend.
You can tell her knowledge of Santa Fe is from her living there, providing tidbits that only a local would be able to share. Her tour provided great photographs of the exact spot we were at, but from a much earlier time.
Her commentary was a matter of speaking with us and not talking to us. Lauren makes the tour a lot of fun and has deep knowledge about the food, drinks, restaurants, and history of Santa Fe. We also repeated her Railyard district food tour this year and I can't say we have a preference. He gave us a brief historical chronology of Santa Fe and the surrounding area of New Mexico. He was interesting, informative and had an engaging personality. He was very thoughtful about providing places to sit down, and taking bathroom breaks.

Thanks to Jerard, we learned more about the Spanish/Mexican history and influence in Santa Fe - Jerard can trace his ancestry back to one of those folks! Each of the 3 restaurants we visited were unique. Not only did we taste different foods, we also enjoyed a beer or cocktail at each location. We particularly enjoyed the cocktail bar where drinks are served in ceramic vessels made by local potters.

Particularly enjoyed the Double Take store. New and consigned items in all categories. Also purchased from local artisans showing their wares in front of the Palace of the Governors. The start location does need to be updated because the Art Collection building is not there.
