What a great fun spot! Good beer! Great pho and Kim chi fries! Great relaxed atmosphere on the lawn. So why the 80s rock music? I like a lil Van Halen every now and then as much as the next person, but this is a cool modern venue deserving of music that matches its vibe and 80s hair band rock has a pretty specific following.

We stopped in while waiting to dine at Restaurant Martin. I had never heard of Santa Fe Brewing, but the helpful bartender guided me to the perfect beer for me: Social Hour. My husband and I enjoyed our beers outside in the beer garden. I was sorely tempted to try the food truck, but we had that dinner reservation... So we enjoyed our beers and (later) decided to seek out the actual brewery another day.

Stumbled upon this delicious concoction - such a creative craft drink experience fermented tea and honey - seasonal flavors are subtle and available for tasting flights & you can take home a growler as well. Peaceful relaxing space - we visited twice during our short stay in Santa Fe. Please ship nationally soon!!

Great stop to cool down after hitting the farmers market or Arl events in rail yards. Good beer selection. The only bummer is no good

Hmmm, not sure how to evaluate the Taphouse. First, they serve Santa Fe Brewing Co. Beer. So far, so good. And they serve wine. But no food.

We are new to the area looking for a new place to alight when we want to be together. We have found the Taphouse to be interesting. Not overly friendly. Like, everyone is nice. But not really engaging. Usually quite crowded. We have turned away more than a few times after walking in to find no seating available. And it's a bit clique-ish. There are groups that know each other well. That's nice. But they take the same places time after time.

For us, the jury is out. Everywhere we've lived we've found a local bar/lounge that just felt comfortable and welcoming. So far that's not been the case here. And it's been cold.

Now, to their credit, they are doing a significant enlargement of the Taphouse. Hope that helps.

We'll come back. But not when it's full.
