- Chelsea7 contributionsWhat an incredible place. Yep! It’s dusty! But, if you hold on to your butts until you reach your trail, it’s so worth it and more. The dust doesn’t bother me but, it does bother some that it covers everything near the road in it. That’s why you should definitely GET OUT OF YOUR CAR AND TAKE A TRAIL.
The main trails are easy to identify by signage and parking lots. There are some unmarked ones that a pretty rad too. I wouldn’t walk in that road for any distance for sure. Dust and danger.
It would be nice if they posted a low speed limit. People be driving waaay too fast in there. So be careful as it is a narrow winding road with some places only wide enough for one vehicle.
You can spend a little time here or a lot. It’s up to your adventure.Written August 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Annette G3 contributionsGreat beach for the kids to play at. The weather was amazing and there were a lot of small areas for them to splash around in. The kids also loved how easy it was to find whole sand dollars, something they haven’t been able to do many other places despite having spent plenty of time at other beaches.Written August 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jkweebsOmaha, NE668 contributionsThe boy Scout trail is a nice easy walk through the Redwoods. We arrived early and basically had the entire trail to ourselves until our return trip. We only walked about 2 miles on the trail and then turned around but it was fairly easy and very peaceful with lots of great groves of Redwoods and beautiful scenery. Definitely a must do and the drive to the trail from the west side is very scenic.Written August 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My 2.5 year old could climb and explore almost the whole place, but there was a section just for 2-5 year olds.
