What travelers are saying
- Randy&JoniMontgomery, TX9 contributionsJust amazing to walk through a place that was a part of World War Two and beyond. To know that real people, real heroes, young men who loved their country and gave so much just really makes me proud to be an American.Written June 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dennis Mallory11 contributionsUndeveloped, Natural; be wary of soft sand if u park on beach..i saw a JEEP WRANGLER stuck! There WERE warning signs...i guess people just ignored, or thought the WRANGLER coul handle it.Written June 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jill BFort Collins, CO18 contributionsThis is well worth the money and time. Took our 3-year-old grandchild and she loved it. It's a medium-sized venue; not too big to see everything before crankiness sets in, not so small it is disappointing. Just right. Highly recommend the dolphin show but if you want a seat get there at least 20 minutes before. Many things to touch including crabs, jelly fish, sharks and stingrays. Things outside and inside so you can escape the heat if needed. Outside splash pad area was under construction but looks like a blast for the littles!Written June 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephen KCorpus Christi, TX1,789 contributionsI’ve lived in Corpus Christi for 30 years so I know the area (and grew up on the beaches in San Diego). If you have small children and don’t want to worry about cars running them over, this is the place to be. FYI, Texans are passionate about their “freedom” to drive on the beach. But driving is not allowed here (it is allowed south of here towards Little Shell, but not here). At this beach you will find families rather than party seekers. Hardly ever have encountered loud music. This is worth the extra drive if you want a family friendly beachWritten June 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rebecca S4 contributionsI loved it so much! I feel so blessed to have met Abraham! I cried the whole time and was in awe!
It is a small musuem but filled with all things Selena. My kids are huge fans too and got to get things from the gift shop.
If you are a Selena fan, you must hit this up!!Written June 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's in a beautiful location right along the waterfront and if you go early enough you can park easily right in front of it. The memorial itself is quite good and attests to the love of her fans. Recommend checking this out if your in Corpus Christi.Written May 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - aatbenderDandridge, TN468 contributionsFour of us went to a Saturday night game. Not a very large crowd. Nice ballpark with good views. Access to walk all around the ballpark. Food and drinks pretty pricey for AA ball. Fun to see the tall bridges out past the outfield.Written April 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TERRAvelistaLondon, UK17,423 contributionsLoved the wildlife: hundreds of pelicans passing all the time or diving near us, lots of flying fish and black birds.
But......... the sand was non existent and nothing like the flour like sand in Clearwater or other Floridian beaches. The water was warm for early March but not clear and lots of plastic in the water or sand: I saw a plastic toy truck the same size as a palm covered in marine life passing near me - I thought it was hilarious, however this is not good for the marine life.Written March 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Be aware when going down the steps as they are not normal stair height and the bottom is slick.
I was a little worried we would see vagrants based on some other reviews, but we did not see any.Written June 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Broad variety of subject matter and lots of hands on displays to keep the kids entertained, very family friendly. Some of the displays need to be updated, like the power generation/energy display which was based on data from the 90's, but overall found it very interesting.Written February 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TERRAvelistaLondon, UK17,423 contributionsYou can see this bridge in the distance, as you are about the reach the city if travelling from Austin for example and it is a great representation of the city: beautiful, strong and well maintained.
We used it several times, crossing it from our hotel near Padre Island to visit the Aquarium and USS Lexington nearby.Written March 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The volunteers and staff here were so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. They have many animals other than turtles.Written June 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- EFW2014Woolwich, ME1,109 contributionsTypical pier with fishing and a restaurant. Lots of parking, about 25 picnic tables along the shore.Written February 9, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ann MCorpus Christi, TX21 contributionsI see many beautiful sunrises on my three mile morning walks in this park. The path is well-lit. The only thing I don't like is crossing Ocean Drive to get to Cole Park.Written November 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ann MCorpus Christi, TX21 contributionsI frequently visit the Laguna Madre to Kayak. You can see beautiful sunsets. YOu can eat at a couple of restaurants out there. The best way to see the Laguna Madre is in a boat. So, it is not all that crowded.Written November 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
