We found great results, but some are outside Wailea. Showing results in neighboring cities.
Limit search to Wailea.
Keawakapu Beach
#5 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
Like almost all beaches in south Maui, the sand is perfect and waves are gentle, but this beach is lined mostly by expensive ($10M+) homes and the beach can’t be seen from the street, so it is often missed.
It continues to get busier each time I visit, but understandable as it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Wailea Beach
#6 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
One of the most beautiful beaches ever!! Giant sea turtles right there.... swim with them!... and enjoy the perfect sand!!
This golden stretch of heaven is one of the most gorgeous beaches on Maui!

Wailea Beach Path
#7 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
The path winds around many of the resorts, Andaz, Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, Kea Lani, Polo Beach, etc. Stunning and picturesque views of the Ocean, Molokini Crater, lush vegetation and beaches.
fully paved from Andaz to the Fairmont, you get great views of beaches, rocky outcrops, Molokini, interpretive signage and access to the high end hotels along this strip on Wailea beaches.

Ulua Beach
#8 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
Unlike some beaches, the waves are a little more kid friendly and perfect for boogie boarding.
Like most South Maui beaches, your best snorkeling is before noon due the consistent trade winds.

Maluaka Beach
#9 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
Even with helpful directions from local residents and guidebooks, it took us two separate trips to beaches just south of Wailea to find Turtle Town, a place to see a large number of turtles.
It has quickly become one of our favorite beaches to relax, snorkel, swim, etc.

Makena Beach
#10 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
It's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the major hotel beaches and Makena Beach offers a great secluded area with gorgeous sand and water.
The view over to Molokini is stunning and the closeness to the lava fields mean the sands have that caramel color but just a tad more of the black specs than many other Maui beaches.

Polo Beach
#12 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
What a perk and for only a tip!! Water was great and there was a sandy bottom, unlike much of the West beaches which have lots of coral to step around.
Best in the morning, like most Maui beaches.

Little Beach
#13 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
You cross Big Beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches we saw in Maui, then you climb a lava rock natural stairway to little beach.
Yes, it is a nude beach and it is truly one of the best beaches in Maui!

Kamaole Beach Park 3 Kihei 1.6 mi away
#33 of 109 Outdoor Activities in Kihei
This is one of our favorite beaches anywhere... clear blue water, fantastic scenery (Molokini, Kahoolawe, and Lanai are all visible as you sit in your Tommy Bahama sand chair and sip rum and POG.
There are some more infamous beaches we read about, but for us staying in Kihei, all the Kam beaches were great, with #3 our favorite for snorkeling and hanging out for the day.
Kamaole Beach Park II Kihei 1.9 mi away
#35 of 109 Outdoor Activities in Kihei
This is one of the nicest beaches in south Kihei, safe for people of all ages, with easy beach access and fairly close to some fun snorkeling spots.
We enjoyed easy access to nice beaches, great boogie-boarding, and awesome snorkeling.
Po'olenalena Beach
#16 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
There's also a great variety of backgrounds (rocky outcroppings, sandy beaches, "grassy" green areas, and even a small wooded area with trees).
A little off the beaten path, this beach is away from the hustle of the more popular Kihei and Wailea resort beaches.

Kamaole Beach Park I Kihei 2.5 mi away
#31 of 109 Outdoor Activities in Kihei
As with many Hawai'i beaches, this park offers beautiful grassy areas, picnic tables, barbecues, and sand volleyball courts right before you walk to the sand.
The beaches were clean and roomy, great snorkeling off the beaches, I saw a number of larger fish and a few green sea turtles.

Oneloa Beach
#19 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
It's right up the road from the very busy Napili and Kapalua Bay beaches, but hardly anyone seems to go here!
This beach is gorgeous for views and fun for boogie boarding when waves are up.
Pa'ako Beach (Secret Cove)
#21 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
But, it's a magical spot and a nice getaway from the large beaches.
The direction this beach faces you will be able to watch the stunning sunset between the islands, creating a unique opportunity for great photos!
Palauea Beach
#23 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
One of the best secret beaches on Maui.
Off to the left of the beach are coral rocks that have lots of fish to look at as well as huge sea turtles that come to eat on those coral rocks.
Mokapu Beach
#24 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
Clear water, white beaches, showers, restrooms make it a favorite day spot.
We walked on the path that winds past the other resorts in the area, and the beaches there are fine but Mokapu is unbeatable.
Oneuli Beach
#27 of 33 Outdoor Activities in Wailea
Step away from the busy beaches just next door (little beach, and it's neighbour Big beach) to your own personal paradise.
One of a number of beaches.
Big Beach Maui, HI 3.8 mi away
#161 of 514 Outdoor Activities in Maui
It's beautiful beach on Maui! Dreaming of laying out in the sun and enjoying one of many Big Island Beaches? "I think 'Yes!".. Just stay there and enjoy it yourself!
There were lots of wake boarders and people along the beach but you had the luxury to be a little more spaced out than some of the other well known and highly visited beaches on Maui.

Kanahena Cove Kihei 1.2 mi away
#90 of 109 Outdoor Activities in Kihei
On another point, the beaches in Makena are like finding a diamond.
We snorkled at the Ahihi-Kinau reserve and at this beach.
Cove Park Kihei 2.9 mi away
#65 of 109 Outdoor Activities in Kihei
Away from the Kamaole beaches this is a nice little jewel of an area.
Our first day on the beach we came here and swam, sunned, and snorkeled.
La Perouse Bay Maui, HI 6.3 mi away
#153 of 514 Outdoor Activities in Maui
The trail is an easy trail that winds between the old lava flows and beautiful little beaches.
Once you get out to the lava fields you'll be treated to Coral beaches, wonderful pools, and great vistas.
