My wife and I rode a jetski from the houseboat, in another canyon, up the tight canyon to the Park Service's dock, We tied up the jetski and hikes up a 1/2 mile, very nice trail, to the arch.
There are Park Rangers stationed right at the bridge to answer any questions and probably to keep anyone from climbing the bridge as it is considered sacred Navajo land.
