Experiencing the Black Hills, Crazy Horse Memorial and Mt. Rushmore was amazing. The scenery on the Iron Mountain Road Summit was too beautiful to be described! Custer State Park was so scenic and we had an added bonus of seeing lots of bison at the Bison Center, as the round up had just taken place the week we visited. Neal was very knowledgeable about the area and a fun tour operator. Granted, this was a full day tour, but it really could’ve been extended to allow a little bit more time in each location. Although, we did our best in a short time to contribute to the local economy at each gift shop!

We went on a private tour of Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park with John. It was a fantastic tour of the area. John is so knowledgeable and even recited "Cowboy Poetry" along the way. If you want to know the backstory from a local, this guide is your guy.

We saw sooo much; took a bazillion pictures; immensely enjoyed our fantastic guide, Doug; ate a wonderful, included lunch and so much more.

Our group traveled with two people who were using collapsible wheelchairs, had walkers with them, one of whom struggles with the steps onto the vehicle. Doug, our guide extraordinary, helped, encouraged and supported everyone so much.

We spent 2 amazing days touring with My XO Adventures - the Mt. Rushmore/Crazy Horse/Custer State Park and Badlands Golden Hour tours. Owner Daniel Milks was our guide and we couldn't have been more pleased or impressed. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the natural world and the people who settled it. We weren't interested in the "cowboys and Indians" schtick of larger tour companies and particularly appreciated his respect for and knowledge of the Lakota people. Daniel also knows the back roads and out-of-the way sites/vistas and we spent the 2 days seeing one amazing site after another. He also knows Badlands National Park like the back of his hand. The Badlands Golden Hour tour was a perfect way to experience the beauty and majesty of this unique setting, as we drove throughout the park enjoying the different views as the sun was going down. The highlight of the trip came after dark, as Daniel knew the perfect place to enjoy the nighttime sky. We did it in style, lying on blankets and pads and soaking in the beauty and vastness of the nighttime sky with no obstruction from ambient light.

My XO Adventures is a first-rate tour company that was easy to work with and that provided us with 2 unforgettable days in western South Dakota. We recommend them without hesitation.

Wanted to give a big round of thanks to our guide Chris for an A+ tour of the Badlands. Although the scenery alone can only be described as stunning, Chris’ commentary and insights added so much to our day. Visited a fossil /artifact/geology museum to get an understanding of how the badlands evolved, a wonderful burger and fry lunch in Wall, and then a drive through the Badlands that culminated in a view of sun setting over this beautiful park. Chris was knowledgeable, fun and so friendly! Having a driver allowed us to see all the highlights and allowed everyone to enjoy the trip without the stress of searching for sights. Booking was great, follow thru perfect. Would absolutely recommend… and see the Badlands… like a surreal landscape like no place else I’ve ever been.

This was our 3rd trip with Southwest Adventure Tours and it was great. Our guide, Hans, was exceptional. He was well informed, accommodating, and entertaining. Mt Rushmore was majestic, we particularly liked the evening Flag ceremony. The elevator was out of commission at Wind Cave National Park, so our guide added an unplanned stop at The Mammoth Site museum. This was very interesting and enjoyed by everyone. A top notch trip overall.

This is just absolutely gorgeous and stunning. The music is very patriotic and the ranger talk is incredible. The honoring the veterans is special.
