What travelers are saying
- rayreviewerUnited Kingdom277 contributionsThis beach is really nice, it has gentle waves most of the time and there are lots of fish which you can get all round you by feeding them bits of bread roll. The beach gets very busy at weekends and there is not much room, but during the week it is fine. The car park above now charges for parking which is a development since we were last there in 2020. The beach is best accessed from the western end as the east entrance has a purpose built slope down the cliff but the beach that was there 2 years ago has been washed away and walking over the loose rocks and stones is tricky to access the sand.Written September 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NikJAscot, UK927 contributionsAs other reviews have commented, I would not make a specific trip to see this, but just off the main road that goes along the coast, and pretty close to Castelsardo, and Nuraghe Paddaggiu.
Easy parking off road, and a few wood/trinket sellers, for a quick stop for a couple of shots showing the rain and wind erosion of the rock, easily identifiable as elephant shape.
No charge.. and now done it, seen it, would not stop again.Written September 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is worth time to check out the views and the castle/citadel at the top. Many cute restaurants to take a break and enjoy taking a step back in time.Written September 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fluffymonkeyWorcester, UK4,074 contributionsCommanding a breathtaking spot overlooking the Golfo dell Asinara its worth the bracing uphill walk into the old town to visit here.Written September 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - phat_dawg_21Alpharetta, GA16,977 contributionsThis is a rocky beach surrounded by beautiful hills.
We felt this was one of the prettiest beaches we visited in Sardegna. It is rough, and unspoiled. You will not see vendors or cafes. Bring whatever you need for the time you plan to stay.Written October 23, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Castle also provides great views across the town and sea…
Toilets were clean.Written September 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Waterboarding is not a new invention...There was also a room full of herbs and we were explained about the wise women using the herbs to cure all sorts of diseases (and being prosecuted as witches during the inkvisition)...
The very knowledgeable and kind guide was not very strong in foreign languages but did her best to answer questions..Written August 1, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Inside there are the „Black Crist” and the „Bust of Ecce Homo” and nice wooden altars. It’s worth a visit.Written September 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- phat_dawg_21Alpharetta, GA16,977 contributionsThis small, protected beach has clean, brown sand and clear water. It is much nicer than many of the “in town” beaches we visited on this trip.Written October 23, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
