We drove here from Reykjavik and didn't have any problems. There's a big car park, snack stalls for sandwiches and toilets that weren't very nice but we're free and the site was free so we were grateful.
The falls were stunning! Unfortunately we visited after a big snowfall so the path to walk behind the falls was closed off. The paths are all clearly marked and it's an easy short walk, even with a lot of snow on the ground.
Follow the path to get to Gljufrabui, which is absolutely incredible and definitely one of the best things I saw in Iceland

Daughter and I had a wonderful time. The horses were fantastic and staff / guides were extremely m friendly, helpful and informative. One of our most memorable activites from our trip to Iceland.

Very nice ride. Hella horses are really horse loving people. Horses are taken very well care off (which we feel is key when it comes to animals). Very nice ride across the country side. Small groups. Communication was very easy. Really great fun for, in our case, tja family! Would definitely recommend it. And next time we’re in Iceland we’ll do it again!

You must try the tolt. It is smooth and easy to sit to. These small horses are strong, well-behaved, and have studded shoes. I did not need to be concerned about ice or pot holes.

We had a one hour ride (family of 4 adults with a wide range of experience). Everyone was happy, and our guide, Nick (sorry I can't write her full name), was most accommodating.

As an experienced rider, I recommend this establishment. It is professionally run and the horses are well cared for.

I booked a 4 day trip with SCA Iceland. The organisation and care that they showed was just so amazing. They organised meals at great places, superb food, and ran itineraries with us before hand.
Having booked a 4 day tour we slept in a company owned isolated house placed perfectly on the South coast called Grund. It was comfortable and warm ( considering we were there in December.
A shout out to Ingvar, Stefan and Margrit who were all knowledgeable, amazing drivers in crazy weather and icy snowy roads and yet were so friendly and made each journey and adventure a joy.
They were punctual and were proud Icelanders, proud to show off their country, their history and personal stories.
A lovely small touch was that when we arrived in Grund, there was no food so another shout out to Lowa who came armed with 2 bags full of groceries.
A huge thank you for making the most of our 4 hours of daylight and bringing Iceland to life.

We had a great day with Magnus. Super fun cruising around in in the Land Rover and saw some outrageous landscapes. We took a few hour hike to break up the day. Learned a ton about the geology and ecology of the area. Magnus obviously very much enjoys what he does and it shows.
