Love walking around here, ate at Jackson Street tavern worst service ever. Food not very good. No flavor.

Walked across the bridge one night while visiting Omaha. Very cool when it's all lit up and you stand on the border between Nebraska and Iowa. If you do the walk in the late fall/winter, make sure you're bundled up.

This art museum had a beautiful and extensive collection. We highly recommend a visit and a couple hours there.

Very Good Sculptural Tour of Pioneering through the West. The Bronze figures were well done; the multiple blocks of information and sculptures were great.

Omaha recently renovated this entire area. If you are visiting town, this is worth making a part of your activities and memories of your trip - especially at night with the beautiful lighting

Beautiful Cathedral. I want to thank all the Catholics who labored in Omaha, including CMRI who are such an inspiration to me.
I absolutely love Catholic Churches and esp Cathedrals

Not the easiest place to get to if you are across the river in Council Bluffs at the Union Pacific Museum. There are limited signs at the parking lot of the Gardens that it is attached to. Photography angles are not the greatest and access to cab is blocked right now. That said, it is a joy to see these two powerful motive power units in one place with a nice summary of each provided. UP ran a 4-8-8-4 a couple of years ago around the midwest and that was a hoot.

Nice walk along the riverfront. Pretty views and fairly easy walk. Only issue we had was there is a fair amount of construction going on around the area. We parked at the old market and walked. I wouldn’t advise this if it’s dark or going to be dark soon. The area we had to pass through was a tad sketchy.

More than a man made lake in the suburbs, Lake Zorinsky has much to offer. I have seen amazing sunsets over the lake night after night; walked miles of trails; played baseball with m my boys at the diamonds when they were young; pushed swings at the multiple the playgrownds and flown kites in the soccer fields, seen wildlife in its natural habitat including wild turkeys, hawk, owls, deer (including a herd of about 50 deer running gracefully only a hundred yards from me); taken hidden paths; celebrated a birthday party in a shelter; watched fireworks throughout the area from above the dam; and appreciated that manmade lakes are not necessarily for mere pleasure, but also protection and prevention of flooding in a state with thousands of miles of waterways.

Like most things Mormon, very classy and well done. The displays were immaculate and accurate. Lots of information about how pioneers survived the trek and life on the prairie. Tour guides are missionaries who spend the first part of their mission in the center and then move on. Highly recommend. Lots of history to learn here.

I was directed here by staff at the visitor center as I was searching for local art. I left with more than I could carry! I bought several unique gifts, as well as some souvenirs for myself! There is something for everyone (jewelry, pottery, paitings, glass, etc...). I only wish more of the artist studios would have been open. But then, I would have spent more money!

Always a great place to visit - bike, run, lake stuff (no swimming) or just enjoy the park! Nice variety of picnic spots, playgrounds, soccer fields, and good boat access. Many great photography spots!

Not an awful lot to see here. The adjacent park is nice. You can walk the pedestrian bridge over the Missouri River.

Fun spot for all types of activities. This mature park in Omaha has a city pool, a golf course, picnic areas, sports areas, playground space, basically most anything you want in a classic park.

There are some wonderful spots for photos. The park connects to the Omaha trail system and Memorial Park. Plus it is a connection between the two UNO campuses.

This is such a nice place to walk and relax. It is very calming with a nice trail and even has a view point to watch nature by the water. I loved watching the turtles on the logs in the water and being at a viewpoint that doesn't disturb them. The viewpoint hides you from them so they are all living in peace but close enough to get a good view. I want to come here more often, and its nice coming out here between a busy schedule to refresh.
