What travelers are saying
- JLMukilteo, WA119 contributionsI usually go every month, but I was struck by the Volleyball tournaments, along with throngs from the greater Seattle area.Written February 19, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason HennigRenton, WA480 contributionsA beautiful park to walk along the beach in the twilight. They allow beach fires, which makes evenings an extra fun experience. In the summer, it gets extremely busy, so we went in winter and found that the sights are just as lovely!Written January 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JLMukilteo, WA119 contributionsThe views at the eastern end of the Madison Valley are calming, especially in summertime, until the throngs of sunbathers carrying bluetooth boomboxes and lifeguards in lanyards warning swimmers not to pass the buoyed rope lines. Occasionally, some litter was found on-sight, and the ants would take notice. But the breeze would draw back the custom freeze into Seattle.Written February 21, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Seattle V1 contributionNice relaxing shady area in the afternoon on a hot day. Bring a towel, blanket, or lounge chair. It’s a bit of a hill to walk down, but nothing extreme. Flip flops or crocs recommended since there are stones in the water, and leaves on the ground. No restrooms nearby, but about a quarter mile south on the other beach is one if you need it badly. Street side Parking is kind of a gamble but doable if you walk a few hundred feet.Written August 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason HennigRenton, WA480 contributionsThis park was a lot more than I expected! Large wooded areas, a few simple walking paths, the fields and beach; it may not sound like much on paper, but it's a very relaxing location. Lots of parking, too.Written July 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alec DSeattle, WA2,584 contributionsThis is a small but nice park on Alki. It's great for a picnic or barbecue by the water. Enjoy the views, relax and watch the sunset!Written March 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
