I treated my wife and I to an anniversary date at the Little Red Spa. I had high hopes, but they blew any expectations out of the water. What a wonderful experience. We did the 3-hour session, which was really perfect.

When we arrived, the front of the house staff was friendly and informative. They took us to the Tent Room. The pictures don't do it justice. It's way more spacious. Two massage tables in the center, a huge copper tub that fit two people with room to spare, a shower, private bathroom, an IR sauna, a day bed, a fridge and a table set for two. We just brought wine and light snacks, but you can bring what you want. The lighting is adjustable, there is an alexa capable speaker so you can set the mood music, and the art is tasteful (kinda PG-13 nudes) and the color palette of the room is warm and calm.

The masseuses, Cassandra and Kai, were truly the best we've each had, and that's saying something. The attention to detail, finding exactly the right depth and pressure for the various aches were perfect. We were both noodles by the end of it.

We can't wait for another date night at the Little Red Day Spa!

My husband and I visited on a little summer weekend get-away to Seattle. We are very lucky to have visited quite a number of upscale spas in various places, and while this one is good -- it's simply not on par with others we've been to.

First off all, I think that because it's in the same building as the Fairmont Olympic, one expects the same type of experience that you get at a "Willow Steam Spa" (which in many places are attached to Fairmont properties). That is not quite the case here. There is no steam room/hot tub/locker room/shower area etc.you get changed and give your belongings to an employee to store for you. I just didn't feel super comfortable with that - I'd rather I had locked my things away myself.

The small common waiting area is pleasant, but there's a lot of black and while it is quiet, it just doesn't have a spa feel. Our massages were good. But my husband specifically told his therapist he did not want his feet touched - and she massaged his feet. My therapist was good - just not top notch like one expect when paying the money that you do.

And there is a pool/screamingly over-lit bright locker room area down the hall attached to a fitness area, so you don't get to carry your peaceful spa feeling there.

We were both relaxed and enjoyed our experience - just simply in comparison with others in the same price range it's not up to par.

Our granddaughter loves this spa so we tried to give her a gift certificate for her birthday. Be aware: there are TWO Banyas - one in downtown Seattle and one in Everett - and they have nothing to do with each other. So they couldn’t honor the gift certificate, but they did offer to refund the charge because of the misunderstanding.

I had a fabulous 90 minute massage with Jacqueline! She used the perfect amount of pressure with occasional acupuncture like pressure to relieve knots in my shoulders and lower back. I have also had recent heel pain, so the foot massage helped a lot. It was a luxurious and most enjoyable experience!

Very friendly and accomodating front desk person too when I called to book and checking me in.

Isabelle the therapist by far is the best! I got massages in Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, and many major cities in the US, and I’m so happy to have met Isabelle! I have gone through 10+ therapists in the last 15+ years. Of course some were great but Isabelle is far different. I don’t need to tell her where it hurts. She would know where and how much it hurts by her touch. I made 2appointments 2 days in a row and I feel relieves I haven’t felt. I’m considering flying out every 2 months from Colorado get a session with her. She’s that good!!! Also a staff member Faith is so nice and sweet!

We got a couple massage. Audry and J were great.
Knew the pressure needed and put us to sleep
We chose an aroma therapy message. Finding Parking was a tad issue but overall a great experience.

After a few days of sightseeing around Seattle, my husband really needed a foot/leg massage. Spa Noir was recommended on our hotel (Palihotel) website. I set up a lower leg massage for my husband at Spa Noir for the next day. Theodore was so pleasant in getting us set up and answering questions. My husband reported his massage therapist, Phil, was caring, thorough, and skillful in making his feet and legs feel better for the rest of our trip. I highly recommend Spa Noir for approachability and ease in setting up an appointment, and my husband highly recommends Phil for his manner and massage skills. My husband wishes we lived closer so he could be a repeat customer :) Thank you Spa Noir.

As others have written, this place is very small and intimate. It includes a sauna, steam room, hot tub, cold shower, regular shower (communal, with only two shower heads), and a rest area by the lockers that would perhaps fit two.

We were welcomed, given brisk instructions and sent on our way. Given the size of the place I think 8 would feel quite crowded, as the two of us changing meant that we took up most of the floor space by the lockers.

They also have a massage person on sight. I didn't make an appointment in advance which wasn't a problem as the place wasn't crowded but it might be something to think about. The massage was combination standard muscle work, acupressure, and I think reiki.

    Good to know:
    - Lockers are fairly small, so don't bring a lot of stuff with you as it won't fit.
    - There is a single toilet, with two doors that don't lock. So in addition to needing to be mindful about that, you should also be aware that it really isn't the kind of spa where you can go in, relax, and then put yourself back together again (hair,
    etc.) before leaving.
    - If you rent a towel they are not large so won't do much to cover you if you're feeling modest. But honestly no one cares. The only time I thought about it was on the few steps I took through the reception area to get to the massage room. If you want your own towel, get a Turkish one online as they are thinner, absorbent, and can fold up small in your bag.
    - They provide water there, bring your own if you want it to be cold. Otherwise they provide plastic glasses.

This box is the best in Seattle. They really listen to their customers to constantly make improvements to fit everyone's needs. No matter if it is your first time working out/doing Crossfit or a professional you are treated as a member of the family. They are willing to go that extra mile to get to know you in and outside the box.

Great people price is 39 for combo. Price did go up during the pandemic. They had less folks in for a year. Still a great place.

I've been a customer of the downtown Gene Juarez location for over ten years. I think I've had every type of service there. I have decided to continue visiting the spa and nail salon, but I don't get my hair done here anymore.

I get regular waxing services from Paulette, who is excellent. She is friendly, professional, and very competent. I have also received facials from her as well as from others in the spa. Massages have also been very good. The spa area is well appointed, with everything you would expect in a high-end spa - nice relaxation area, good locker rooms, nice showers, etc. Nearby, I have also received spa services at Elaia Spa, which is good as well, but not as accommodating on scheduling and with fewer services.

The nail salon is also very good, with Shellac available. It's pricier than a typical walk-in nail place in the area, but the products are better, things are cleaner, and the manicurists more competent and professional. I typically see Aiden, but have also had good mani/pedis from Mariana and Mercedes. Whenever I want my nails to look really good for an event - I come here.

A large part of the downtown space is dedicated to the hair salon. I have been here a number of times to visit various colorists and stylists and just haven't been happy. While I receive great client service in the spa and nail salon, I don't feel the same way in the hair salon. They seem to be overbooked and trying to get rid of me, I am often dissatisfied with my hair, and the primary goal seems to be selling product.

When I go to other area hair salons, I am greeted, my hair is discussed and complimented, I get a pleasant service where the colorist/stylist is focused on me, and they really make an effort to give you a pleasant shampoo with warm water and head massage. Here, I have been told that what I ask for isn't what they want to do, that I need to buy Kerastase or Bumble & Bumble or whatever, and they are often unfriendly. It seems like the hairdresser is trying to service two or three clients at once, so I am often abandoned and the shampoo is usually torturous. There is often very cold water, no massage, and I come out of the shampoo bowl soaked to my bra. There just doesn't seem to be a focus on client service, more on who can have the most fashionable outfit or have the funnest conversation with other hairdressers while ignoring the client. They basically just make me feel like I'm not "cool" enough to get my hair done here. As a result, I have switched to other salons for regular color and cuts and now generally go to Swink for event hair and makeup, even though I have had good makeup services here.

Another comment would be that the check-in/check-out staff is hit or miss. They used to be very good, but lately this seems to have deteriorated somewhat, particularly at check-in. I do think that all the issues here are training/process issues, and could be addressed by management.

From the time you walk in to the time you leave it's all about relaxation. Very low key environment with super helpful staff. Before starting we were walked through how the tanks work, how they clean them, and the differences between them (most are tanks but one is more of a walk-in). The rooms are clean and have a shower to rinse before and after. I left with my shoulder pain almost non-existent and totally relaxed. We both were glad we came and will be back.

Parking can be a problem in the Green Lake area so get there early. Even with that issue, we still both highly recommend.

Before starting the massage, she asked me to tell her if I wanted more or less pressure. Extremely precise on every part of the body with equal care and attention.

It's amazing what can happen when you listen to your body. I was having a lot of issues and thought that the massage would make me feel better. I didn't think it would actually fix any of my problems...just thought it would be a good chance to relax and be quiet.
After the first session I signed up for continued sessions as a member. I haven't regretted it. I had some health issues that suddenly stopped once I had the massage. I guess the stress I was under had really messed me up. I highly recommend it. I'm not saying they can cure you...I am just saying... what if you had 60 minutes to just be quiet and relaxed and someone was massaging you and when it was all said and done.... You walk out relaxed with a new state of mind? would it be worth it? it was for me...and then some.
