My wife & I were staying a block away from the Seattle Glassblowing Studio along 5th Avenue, so we stopped in to browse their shop & watch the glass artists at work on our weekday walk back from Seattle Center.
Now we have these incredible little pieces of blown glass we made ourselves as souvenirs of beautiful Seattle and our artsy activity.

We booked our tour the week before as they get really busy and did I mention a gift shop with unusual chocolates like fresh basil ( good) and lemon ( very very good!)
I have long been a fan of their chocolate and always enjoyed visits to the retail store, but the tour is definitely a fun and worthwhile experience.

We love the Book Store and the great and friendly staff and also all the others stores and restaurants around there.
The Elliott Bay Book Company is a rarity: an independent bookstore that survives, in the city where Amazon got its start selling books.

Seating is minimal, but if you are lucky enough to get a seat by the window, it’s fun to watch the cheese making process.
