So much history all around New Orleans. The park is just a couple blocks off the water, near French Market, cathedral right across the street, benches to relax on, grass for a blanket/picnic

Stunning residential community. It is a residential community, so be respectful.
Also, go in with a plan. Being that it's a neighborhood, houses and parks worth seeing are spread out and you could find yourself wandering about.

Definitely worth the visit. So different from the grunge and hustle of the French quarter.

To get a little relief from the heat we went into the air-conditioned St. Louis Cathedral. Didn’t spend too much time there as it was closing shortly. The building is very ornate with murals on the ceiling and classic stain glassed windows.

This is a great place if you are visiting New Orleans. While the city center itself caters to a variety of food and music, here is where you can taka nice leisurely walk and see a few museums-that are all of very high quality. If you are coming to NO with family, do not miss this place. Plenty of parking and lots of trail, food and museums

My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour but the introductory film seemed a bit dated. It was fun for my daughter who has lived in NOLA for the past 4 years to learn about floats that she actually saw in action during recent Mardi Gras parades.

Spectacular sculpture gardens and it was all FREE!
On a beautiful day, there's nothing like a walk in these shaded, fragrant gardens. Just wonderful!

Nice, average aquarium. I wasn’t awed but I wasn’t bored. Thought there would be more animals/fish…but a few exhibits were empty. Nice flow through the facility with plenty of room for everyone. Staff were friendly and bathrooms were clean. Basic gift shop with stuffed toys and cheap jewelry.
Ticket price was a bit high, especially when you add on the parking costs.
Got through the aquarium quickly…had time on the parking to hit the outlet mall.

Any zoo that starts with flamingos is going to be fun. We enjoyed the exhibits, especially the two aviaries. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food at the Zoofari cafe was hot and tasty. I didn't expect such good food, but I guess it's a New Orleans requirement.

A beautiful walk around a golf course. A few playgrounds for kids. Lots of water features/ponds. About a 1.5 mile loop. Well marked. Lots of people...we felt very safe.

Excellent place for children to learn about insects. Adults interesting in little critters should enjoy it as well. The butterfly room is simply magnificent!

However, most notably in this place is its awesome staff; extremely friendly people ready to inform and educate everyone about the importance of nature preservation or to just have a friendly banter. Thank you Jean-Pierre; the conversation about hobby butterfly collecting vs. collecting the specimens for science was interesting!

Even the fact that I was alone didn't bother anyone to have a nice chat along the trip. A really nice park and definitely woth the visit. Even the rain wasn't so bad.

$1.25 for us adults. My kids $0.50 each. These are for one way. Must have exact change or download the RTA app. If staying longer than us I would suggest the day pass.

I am a huge NO Saints Fan and come here at least once or every other year for a game. It may not be the newest stadium but I absolutely love it. You can feel the energy here of everyone and have always had a great time. People are friendly and have never had issues with anyone or even opposing team fans. Have sat in both upper and lower sections, and it's always a fun time.

I wish they would really improve the store though. Went to visit in May in hopes to buy a jersey. First the store was closed and thankfully ran into a staff who told us the temp store is downstairs by the parking lot. There is no signs whatsoever but we finally found it and it has NOTHING. There is very little apparel and merchandise, and when we asked if they had Granderson's jersey, the staff had no idea who he was, and then said we'd have to go online to get it. The store is so pathetic it makes me so sad. I know it's off season but there's still fans like us seeking to buy saints merch to rep our team. We are visiting Cleveland now and their store is FULL of items, including 5+ staff working and ensuring the store was clean and full of merch. Why can't we have the same?? I really hope when the Superdome is back open after renos, the team store will be great again.

We were driving into NOLA to our hotel in French Quarter - and noticed the Saenger Theater with "A'int too Proud" playing .... and got tickets online less than 24 hours in advance - Easy

The theater is beautiful and the sightlines and acoustics were great. The play was also very good. And best of all a short walk to our hotel in French Quarter

    Enjoy!!
