Pickup from hotel right on time and trip out to location was interesting. Driver slowed down for us to see interesting points and provided a short commentary.

Once there registration process was simple and after the obligatory photos in front of a green screen we were off and under the very capable charge of Katrina.

Saw heaps of wildlife and plenty of gators. Finished trip with a close-up view of a river tug pushing 2 huge barges

    Well worth the money

We really enjoyed this tour! There were 8 of us, made the reservation online and everything went smoothly. Our guide was awesome and his mule, Po’Boy, did such a good job! There was never a dull moment, and our guide answered questions to the best of his ability.

We tried an airboat tour as this was the first time our three teenagers had been with us to the New Orleans area. They loved it. We all did. We expected to see some alligators and learn a little about the area, but we had so much fun. Our tour guide Trey was awesome with a lot of very dry humor. We saw lots of alligators of all sizes. Going fast in an airboat through the small swamp passages was really cool too. I would highly recommend this tour to all ages.

Great swamp tour! Friendly and informative transport to/from with bus 3. Captain Gil made sure we saw as much as possible including alligators, raccoons, turtles and birds. I would definitely recommend!

We’ve been to New Orleans so many times and this was our first time doing a swamp tour! Absolutely the highlight of our trip! This is a must do! Bobby was so knowledgeable and clearly takes great pride in his job!

The insectarium was full of literature on the bugs and tons of other information. The aquarium on the other hand was often hard to tell what marine life was in the given tank and the information available was often wrong. Overall this was a fun experience.

This tour, with our guide Jason, was even better than we had expected! I love nature, and I was worried that this tour might be just a boat ride to see some alligators. However, Jason was passionate about the wetlands, and we learnt about the different types of ecosystems that we saw, the vegetation in these wetlands and we saw a couple of different bird species which was cool. The gators were still the main attraction, and we managed to see quite a few!! It was interesting to learn about them too. Our tour guide lured them closer to the boat with marshmallows, which meant we got to see them nice and close. We'd been put off by reviews saying that marshmallows were fed to the gators, but Jason explained that because they're cold-blooded, gators don't react to sugar the same way we do - in fact, sugar is basically meaningless to them and the marshmallows are just empty calories. The gators are opportunistic feeders and will just eat them because they feel something fall into the water. This really put our minds at ease. We felt really comfortable with Jason as our tour guide and the tour exceeded our expectations. It was also really useful being picked up and dropped off right at our hotel. I would highly recommend this tour!

It was a cool way to see the French quarter albeit not a busy part which is understandable giving the pace the mule takes. The mule was very vocal which was funny.

Captain Jamie was knowledgeable and definitely got the rules across in an entertaining way. We were thrilled to see wildlife, mostly alligators, but also owls, great blue cranes and bald eagles. This tour is shorter than many, so it fit into our schedule better, and it was time well spent. A fun way to see the bayou!

The your with Isabelle was so lovely. She picked me up on time from my hotel and then took me and the other guests to the swamp for the bait tour. During the van ride out she told us all about her city, and when we got to the swamp, the tour guide was informative, funny, and charming. The route he took us on the boat was gorgeous. The alligators were so fascinating to see up close, and the surprise siting of a blue heron was really special. Highly recommend.

This was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Gisele was knowledgeable and wonderful. There was only four of us (two couples) which made it very personal. It seemed a little expensive but worth every dollar. Food was good all you could eat.
