Susan- our tour guide took us on a very tasty and also rich in stories about New Orleans. It's worth to do the tour at the beginning of your visit to New Orleans. You will know where to get the best New Orleans experience- food, music, history

Fantastic Tour! It was well paced allowing ample time to eat, drink and shop. The historical content was presented in a fun and memorable manner. Our guide Ben was personable, warm and all around great. Definitely worth the money and a must do in NoLa.

Great way to taste some of the best NOLA has to offer and learn about its history and the cuisine. Lauren was our guide. On time, easy going, sensitive to any likes or dislikes (which we had none). All the restaurants seemed prepared for us, so very little time waiting for food. In fact it was the perfect pace to get to know the other couple who joined the tour (from Ohio) and get to learn more of Creole cooking, recommendations for other things to do and history. Thank you Lauren!

This is a good trip to take when you first arrive - allows you to familiarize yourself with the city and see what you want to do during your visit.
The driver was really friendly when we boarded.
The guide (Jonathan I think) was great - loads of information and well delivered, very humerous. Its nice to have a live guide, lots of tours such as this give you poor earphones and you listen to a pre - recorded spiel so this was nicely delivered.

We decided not to get off the bus at all as at most stops, there was quite a queue and not enough seats for everyone. I believe the folks had to wait 20 minutes for the next bus to come along and we didn't fancy this as it was a hot day.

There were quite a lot of empty water bottles rolling around the floor but this is the fault of passengers, not the bus company.

Just one crticism, it is not clear where to get the bus. We did quite a bit of wandering up and down Canal before we saw the sign.

We had a blast cooking with Chef Joe and his assistant, Chuck. Being locals, we had experience cooking gumbo, but still learned new techniques, tips, and ingredients. Great for seasoned Louisiana cooks as well as out of town newbies to local cuisine. Highly recommend! We will be back for more classes!!

I was the only one who signed up for a tour that afternoon so I got a private tour with Josh! He was fantastic at what he does and I learnt so much about NOLA in that short 2 hours. Josh was a wealth of knowledge and would point out even the small things on the tours, like the sewage covers and the history behind them, great for history nerds like me!

Laurent was a wonderful host! His knowledge of NOLA cuisine combined with his knowledge of NOLA history made this the highlight of our trip. Definitely recommend this tour, preferably at the beginning of trip as he had great recommendations of restaurants and bars to try. I have celiac and Laurent worked with all of the restaurants we visited to accommodate me so that I always had something to try. You will definitely love this tour, five different stops all over the French quarter.

Mark was excellent. Very knowledgeable and had the best dad jokes. Was my husbands first time to New Orleans and he felt he saw more, learned more than if we had tried on our own. Would definitely recommend!!

Took the Haunted History Ghost Tour through the French Quarter with my wife. We were running late and the tour company was nice enough to give us a call and check to see if we were still coming. We arrived about 5 minutes late and one of the employees caught us up to our tour group right away. Our tour guide was Joel and he was an absolute blast. Very knowledgeable and charismatic guy who seemed to really enjoy his job! He even stuck around after the tour and chatted with us about some stories that were not included on the tour. Can’t recommend Joel and the Haunted History Ghost Tour enough!

Jared was an awesome tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the city and keep interesting. The tour went through various areas of New Orleans, not just the highly advertised areas. I learned a lot about the city and was super excited to see my favorite band on a plaque of doners that helped to create a park after the hurricane.

My husband and I took the Roux class yesterday with Chef Chris. Everything about the experience was fantastic!
We had a full class - 9 people (the max was 10) and Chris made sure everyone got to cook and was engaged in the process, the storytelling, etc. We had a range of ages and skill levels and everyone was encouraged to participate and learn new skills. Chris also told some great stories about the food and history of the dishes, as well as some of his experiences cooking in New Orleans and around the world! He made it very easy to feel comfortable and engaged.

We started with everyone chopping ingredients, and then got to making the roux for our gumbo. While the gumbo cooked, we made the shrimp étouffée. I’m not a shrimp fan, but the flavors were wonderful and my husband enjoyed my serving of shrimp!

Once we were done with the main courses it was time for bananas foster. My husband got to do most of the cooking for the bananas foster. He does not cook, but Chris walked him through it and it turned out great! Everyone participated, sat around the table talking and eating and enjoying ourselves, and had a great time. After class, we were all emailed the recipes so we can try and replicate our new dishes at home.

This class was truly something for everyone. I love to cook and enjoyed it, but my husband who really doesn’t cook also loved it. He felt included and like he was able to learn and participate despite being a cooking novice. I can’t wait to get home and try out the recipes again, and then come back to New Orleans and take another class!

Roxana is an excellent photographer and had some very creative ideas about how to frame the shot. She was very friendly and also helped take photos on my mobile phone. She also helped my parents find places to sit while on the tour. The final photographs came out great!

We had a good time, everything went well. Our guide is well well versed, knowledgeable. Perhaps a little eccentric, not to our tastes, and he was a little too soft-spoken, hard to hear. We enjoyed the walk, the stories and the food. Only did 4 spots, I thought 5 was on the schedule.
Nonetheless, would do it again and excellent value for the money.

Please read carefully. Trip Adviser totally mucked up this reservation. I paid for our family of six and received a confirmation receipt, but unfortunately the tour company didn’t. The owner of the tour company apologized profusely but couldn’t do anything about it. After spending thirty minutes on the phone with trip advisor, they promised to refund my money in 3-7 business days. What customer service. Out $450 while on vacation and such a poor reaction from trip advisor. Good luck travelers.

All of our tour guides were top notch and extremely knowledgeable. Not only about their subject on the tour, but the city and history itself. Angela and Ryan gave excellent food and drink suggestions even beyond what we had time to cover in the tour. Food portion definitely had us satisfied with the amounts and variety. The cocktails were all delicious. Last tour was the jazz portion which was a bit much after a full day of eating and drinking but once we started touring the bands and restaurants I feel it really hit it's stride. Wonderful time with all the tour guides. Would definitely recommend!
