    Great experience, highly recommend.
    Tour guide was very nice and informative. Food samples were nicely sized and varied. Restaurants we stopped at were very hospitable. The Boudin on a stick was my favorite sample. The praline shortbread cookie was also a favorite. The Shrimp Poo Boy was okay needed some kick to the sauce. All in all it was a great experience!

    Food, fun and fascination.
    What a great way to spend an evening. Chef Ricardo not only taught us a good deal about the history of creole and cajun cooking, but he made it fun. He really seemed to enjoy walking us through the making of what was a delicious meal! It was hands on, and the hospitality, atmosphere and dining experience were all well worth the cost. Our son and his girlfriend said this class was the highlight of our trip with them to NOLA. Hats off to the organization and especially Chef Ricardo.

    Great Guide
    Great informative, friendly articulate guide "Nate". Our tour was on an early Sunday evening. Nate was excellent with our small group. (By chance, eight of us on this tour just happened to be from the same original home state of Wisconsin) This is a highly recommended fun tour. We did this same tour a year ago, so my only reservation is, with the exception of one restaurant, ALL of the restaurants visited were exactly the same, only in a reverse order. I would recommend to Destination Kitchen, with the HUGE selection of restaurants in NOLA, maybe get a few other restaurant locations to visit from year to year. Otherwise, a recommended tour (especially with Nate).

    Good times great tour.
    Great food and plenty of it, you won’t go hungry. Great cocktails. The host was knowledgeable and fun. I highly recommend this tour.

    Wonderful Night on Steamboat Natchez
    I cannot explain how wonderful this experience was. From the time we boarded, Gina, our host was exceptional. She pampered us in every way from getting drinks, serving our dinner course by course, taking pictures, and entertaining us. Our tour from captain Mitchell could not have been better. He was so intuitive and answered all of our many questions. You can tell his 48 years on the steamboat had grown an unbreakable bond. The band and all of the staff were outstanding as well. Our VIP experience was worth every penny. Of our 5 days in NOLA this was one of our favorites.

    Great Day!!
    What an amazing day!!! I went with my cousin and our 5 kids aging from 8-15. The boat ride was awesome! The kids loved listening to the history on the boat heading to the battlefield. The battlefield visit was perfect. It was just the right amount of time. The captain was amazing! John was super welcoming and accommodating. The food was delicious! The bar was even better! They took pictures before we loaded the boat and the picture was perfect! I would highly recommend this boat whether you’re with family or friends! You will have a day to remember!

    Great!
    This is a great food tour with so much information about the history of New Orleans. Mike was our tour guide and he was very enthusiastic about the food and telling us stories related to New Orleans history that were very interesting! Go hungry as the portions of food were a good size. I’d highly recommend this tour! Thanks again Mike!

    Good tour but perhaps avoid a drink order.
    Our guide was enthusiastic and knew the food culture of the area. The tour has been set up as a rapid fire tasting of a number of local foods. I would generally recommend this tour.

    I rated it four stars rather than five for one very specific reason. During the tour the guide recommended we try a drink that was not on the menu. He described it as his favorite. When the drink was received, it was accompanied by a bill for $29. I did then recall that liquor was not included in the price the tour, but it seem like this was a recommended sampling. It was not. I felt a bit trapped. There was also inadequate time to drink the drink and when we got to the next tasting he said that they really didn't want us to bring outside drinks in. But again, except for this which people should be aware of It was a good tour.
