I travelled here to complete the Level 1 course after recommendations from friends. I felt comfortable at all times. The instructors are very willing to help explain what was required and encouraging so that my experience was positive and fun.
    Great group of people.

    Good massage and nice atmosphere
Little touches like Ginger Tea before and raspberry tea after were appreciated.
Massage was outside and under shade which was very pleasant
Only small negative was pesky flies kept landing on me which I guess you can’t do much about if you’re outdoors, but it did spoil the experience a little

Best massage ever! Very friendly service and fair prices. We had head and neck massage as well as full body massage.
We will come again, when we are in Bali next time!

I went to life in Amed for a yoga class. The shala is very cozy and overlooking an ocean. Our teacher was nice and gentle, we did some breath work, postures and long relaxation. People were very friendly and we had a good chat after the class. I felt very energized for the rest of the day. Highly reccomended. Great experience.

we were looking for a good massage around Amed and decided to enquire with the lady at the reception. The place looks Ok but not too luxurious. We asked if the masseurs are strong and she said we can request for right amount of force. Indeed we had a great relaxing massage that unknotted many of our tight muscles.

Buddha Sunset Yoga is the perfect place to begin or to deepen your practice of yoga. The teachers are attentive and offer diverse styles of yoga and meditation. Once you arrive the peaceful sounds of the ocean, birds, and surrounding nature ease you into a state of zen.

On the property there is also a great restaurant, The Smiling Buddha, overlooking the ocean. The food is delicious and it is a great place to enjoy a nice tea and or meal after you practice.

Attending yoga classes here helped me to re-connect back to a yoga practise that had been missing for years. I cannot thank Darja enough for her authentic & warm personality, and her abundance of knowledge that she is so willing to share. I highly recommend for all levels of experience.

Ok so we have used many spas in Bali and a few different ones in Amed, if you are just wanting a beach massage and that’s fine with you then you do not need to read any further.

If you are wanting THE best massages in Amed I strongly recommend this spa. We have had two spa treatments each week for 5 weeks and will co to us until we leave in 3 weeks time. On top of this my wife has had nail treatments, facials and more.

Every treatment and massage has been perfect, very professional, no chatter, no mobile phones, no leaving you during a treatment, etc.

The prices are very reasonable considering what we would pay for massages in our Western country for us Australia. The dearest is about $24 for one person for a 90 minute Balinese massage so we always chose the 90 minute one.

I really can not speak highly enough of this very clean and very professional spa.

I have read some of the other reviews here, and to be fair to the ways of Indonesia, you aren't going to get the same kind of treatment as you would in say, North America. You're also paying a fraction of the cost you would pay at home. The training and schooling for these treatments is probably learned from their families and some might be training but it's your job to let them know what you want. When I wanted more pressure, I was given more pressure and they did a fantastic job. They aren't shy or uncomfortable about the naked body here, and most massage places wait in the room while you change. If you want them to leave, just ask them. This is the practice of THEIR country, not yours. I would suggest to more foreigners that they learn to appreciate those differences, and not try to impose their ways of life on a country that they are visiting. We are very privileged guests here.
My husband surprised me with a couples massage, a manicure and a hair cream bath which is probably the most amazing thing we have discovered here. We went back a second time it's that good. They give your hair a cream treatment, and after giving the best shampoo you will ever have, they give you a scalp, neck and shoulder massage for more than 45 minutes, then rinse your hair for you. I have naturally curly hair so giving me a blow dry without a roll brush doesn't work, it just gets frizzy so I asked my girl Elu to please give me one braid which she did, and a beautiful job at that.
I think this spa is a must stop when you're in Amed. To get two hair cream treatments cost 235k rupiah for my husband and I (taxes and service included). There are different prices for length of hair but that's more than fair. The girls here are lovely. My favourite thing was that just during our couples treatments (massage and hair treatment) the girls just focused on each of us, and didn't talk to each other while working on us. They are very professional, and the views are absolutely stunning.

Abyss were excellent and I will definitely use them again. They were not the cheapest dive school in Amed but my experience was very good and I really liked all the instructors. My partner and I did two shore dives with them to explore the Liberty Wreck. I found them on TripAdvisor and saw that they had excellent reviews so chose this company. It is a French dive school but the staff spoke fluent English. They were very responsive on WhatsApp in all communications and collected us from our hotel. The dive school is conveniently located on the main road in Amed, which is easy to find. They were close to Rumba cafe (I recommend going to this cafe for breakfast!).
The price includes an edited Go Pro video of your dive experience and delicious crepes! This was a really nice touch.

Had 90 minute massage, actual massage was very good.
Was a little disappointed that masseur kept being interrupted or popping out to talk.

Great little dive shop. Guides spoke good English and made you feel very safe throughout. Would recommend if looking to dive in Lipah Beach/Amed area.

I completed my Advanced Open Water Certification with Emilie at Bali Reef Divers in Amed. Over two incredible days, I explored breathtaking dive sites in an amazing location while improving my skills under Emilie’s expert guidance. She helped me take my diving abilities to the next level, teaching me to be a more professional, independent, and safety-conscious diver. Emilie’s approach made every step engaging and fun, and we were lucky to spot some incredible marine life along the way. It was an unforgettable experience with a fantastic instructor! Highly recommended!
