This museum is a powerful trip into the history of Civil Rights in the USA; you may know some of the info that is presented, but you probably do not know all of it. We thought that the guided tour was the way to go, and our guide, Mr. Darren McGill, was really great. Not pushy, but keeping us in the loop and attentive with his well-written and performed dynamic program. Thank you , Darren.
The 2 women at the reception desk, whose names I realize that I do not know, were also extremely knowledgeable, friendly, wise, and helpful. I completely recommend this museum. (Parts of it may not be suitable for youngsters.)

Awesome place to take your child when schools not in session. Field trips make it hard for younger children to enjoy themselves with older kids running wild!! When leaving we hit up the souvenir shop and that’s unfortunately where all the kids from the field trip! We literally had to get out of line and wait for them to leave. They were loud, pushy and skipping ahead of others to get checked out. We stood to the side and waited. Talked to management/staff. They had more patience than I and were awesome with apologies and we even received a discount on our purchase!!

Simply Outstanding! We did not know anything about this pivotal chapter in the American Revolutionary War. Well worth the visit and plan on spending at least 2 hours here. Informative videos, well designed displays and large grounds with monuments to the battle were highly engaging and informative

One of our first days this year that's was warm and sunny. This park is like a secret garden. Beautiful handcrafted wooden and iron bridges, waterfalls bubbling brooks, and very level, debris free walk path. Perfect for an all day outing to a 10 minute break from reality to enjoy tranquility and peace. I just can't say enough about my amazement that this Beautiful fairytale like park is hidden in the middle of a college campus and a nonstop bustling city. A little slice of heaven.

I have been here a couple times during my stay in Greensboro. It's a very beautiful place. It seems to have steady foot traffic and employees around, so I felt safe. So many places to sit and read a book or draw. I have really enjoyed my trips here and met some very nice people out enjoying the garden as well.

This was my first visit to Ampleside Gallery and I couldn't be more happy that I did. The artwork is astonishing! The artist shown in this gallery are so talented. I felt welcomed as soon as I came in. The owner is friendly and very helpful on information about the artist. I was able to learn more about a specific artist named Leigh Rodenbough (a native to Greensboro). I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and hope to visit again soon! If you will be passing through the area, do not miss the opportunity to visit Ambleside Gallery!

The Greensboro Arboretum is a lovely place to take a nice stroll and see some beautiful trees, plants, flowers, and man-made structures. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax or have a picnic. I highly recommend visiting the arboretum if you're ever in Greensboro.

Blandwood is a wonderful house/museum that deserves some of your time and a small admittance fee. The docent was very friendly and interesting.

We really enjoyed our walk on the Nathaniel Greene trail--well-marked, in lovely woods and the lake. Heron, egret, ducks. We hope to get back to rent kayaks. We felt it was a real find.

Best place to play Pickleball. Ten beautiful outdoor courts with friendly players. Open play all day, every day. The park also has par 3 golf, swimming pool, covered picnic areas, hiking trails, fishing spots and a beautiful lake. Lots of wildlife to see.

A great college to attend. They will challenge you and enhance your knowledge in your field of study. I studied Information Technology and absolutely loved it. There were challenging times but the professors and staff genuinely care. I definitely recommend it!
