As part of the REI Adventure Tours, A Walk In The Woods are contracted for guide services.
Our two children (ages 9 and 11) enjoyed the tour and we all felt very comfortable asking Sam many questions and learning so much in a short period of time.

Although the trees were just beginning to change colors during our tour (the second week of October) Dustin did a great job of giving us information about specific tree specimens, several that were new to me.
The driver, Bob, was the best tour guide ever!!

The staff are friendly and we would recommend both the mountain bike and zipline tours, you probably need some level of fitness for the former with the uphill part being quite tough for us.
The views are amazing and the zips were greater in number and in length than other tours in the area.
