The "Revelation" exhibit linking Andy Warhol's religious faith (Ukrainian rite Catholic), his art, his gayness, and his recovery from gunshots was well-curated and definitely worth the rip.

No dogs allowed. Had to sneak my pup in and be fast. Kinda annoying. Cash only at some places. Ate a double burger with bacon at Duck Season. 1/2 pound brisket at Barks BBQ.

Went there on a very windy Sunday afternoon and I think some vendors might have called it a day early because of that, because there were about 20-30 vendors.
Necklaces (said to be dating back to even 1860) around $ 120, (Nice, but still second hand jackets around 100) Sunglasses 50 and up, tees 10

For variety whether it's home decor, clothing, shoes or jewelry shopping....your best bet for a complete shopping experience would be popping into Macy's. Plus there's so many Specials and Discounts on display especially for Summer and being a Member, it's definitely a must visit!

The winter market held across from Barclays Arena is very fun. Only 20 vintage vendors, high price-NYC style but good quality. Everyone seems to go to enjoy the food court with lots of great vendors from Mexican to Vietnamese.. had lots of fun! Good to be indoors, easy to get to on subway line..

Chain shopping here. We came for Target where we bought some things our apartment needed, so it was practical. Very busy. But a totally uninspired downtown mall. Boring.

Lots of people are around on the weekend to go to the big park and they stop by to buy some food. We bought some pastries to take home for breakfast the next day. Friendly sales people.

Went for the wax sculpures, even though there is a bar. Definitely on the creepy side, but I think that's the point. It's also why I marked it down because my friends wanted to go and I'm not a big fan of that kind of thing.

Janna Levin brings some of the best scientific minds here to discuss the latest developments in genetics, medicine, physics, and robotics. Accessible from Manhattan by ferry with great barbecue just a few blocks away. Free, donations accepted. Science and Art meet here. A great place for a cerebral date.

It is a bit of a shlep from Manhattan but there are some interesting finds from time to time. It's free and there is gorgeous architecture all around. Granted, I haven't always come away with a purchase and it isn't as big as the Williamsburg Flea but if you want to get away from touristy Manhattan this will serve well. Peaceful Fort Greene is a contrast from noisy Manhattan. Relax with the locals.

I love browsing there, but is there a way to find out in advance of going there, if theyre open? Or are they always closed on rainy days? When you call, you get voicemail.

It's not so much the Park Slope Flea Market as it is the surroundings of antique stores and the Smorgesburg. Park Slope Flea Market is a good way to start off you leisurely Saturday morning.
It's not crowded and the craftspeople are from the neighborhood. It's more down to earth and people talk to you here.
