Over the last couple of years the outlets have been shrinking and now it's down to Boss. Boss does have some good deals, and it gives you a little shopping experience après ski.

Generally good, but doesn't feel like the same level of care and attention as a few years ago in the bike service dept. Work done is "okay" but always seems to be a couple of things that get missed.

This bookstore is a must visit in Mammoth. My husband and I enjoyed the variety so much. New books, gently loved books, trinkets of all sizes, wooden jewelry boxes, games, and puzzles fill this space beautifully. There is an entire kids section as well. The two gentlemen we met while perusing were very helpful and kind.

Great and knowledgeable staff! Sometimes a little gruff but awesome quality goods! Gear tuning and waxing!

Easy access from main road with good parking. Late hours during the season makes picking up gear easy!

Most of the artwork for sale is produced by local artists and the Mammoth area has quite of number of these. I can always find just the perfect gift for someone here. Wine and Art classes are offered monthly as well as seasonal art shows in the inside mall outside the gallery. Various artists’ works are highlighted as you enter the store and these are also for sale. Mono Arts Council offers local school art classes and the June Lake Music Festival, Mammoth Lakes Fourth of July Art Show, and the huge Labor Day Arts Festival in the Woods.

If you just need basic gear to snowboarding or ski especially you are beginner and don't want to spend a fortune, this place is right for you. My kids were 1st time to learn snowboard and I didn't want to spend $200 per person to get lesson with gear for them, I don't know if they like it or not. Rick's store has the lowest price rental - less then $40/ day for full gear. That's the cheapest price I can find in town. The service was good, the staff gave us tips where to go for 1st timer and how to wear the gear. It was good deal we rent for a day, both kids had a taste of it and save a lot of money. next time I will go there again.

What a wonderful discovery! We were heading to the Mammoth Brewing Co tasting room and saw the warm friendly shop next door with a cool white dog in the window. Sure we had to go in! What is this place?

Kristin met us at the door and was so warm and friendly and gave us a detailed tour of the shop. They are making custom skis for less than what you are paying for mass produced, everyone has them, the sales guy is trying to unload that stock, someone got a deal on a bunch of skis. Yes I said custom made skis - just for you for less than mass produced skis....hello?? Custom to your ski needs with your own graphics - so so cool. The skis on display show you just how amazing the skis look with unique graphics and they had beautiful all wood decks too.

This is fascinating and even if you aren't looking to buy skis or you don't even ski - worth your time to see how they do it. The shop is warm and cozy and the process is amazing!

I told her my son likes to work with his hands and loves skiing - I would love to bring him in the next day to show him the shop. Well he showed up about 20 minutes later and Kristin gladly gave him the entire tour as well and remembered what school he is going to next fall. What a great hostess and genius business woman! Oh and they are doing things sustainably too - A+

Our next ski purchases will be here for sure. And frankly I want my son to help her open up a shop in Utah or Germany or ??? Great concept, great people, great product. (cool dog too!)
