We were here for Christmas 2017, the park is clean the bathrooms are spotless, the staff are amazing, and the camp host were the most friendliest people you will ever meet.
They have canoe rentals,not on windy days, of course and also bicycle rentals at the ranger station.

We enjoy birding a great deal and Saturday before last we headed over to Ft. Desoto Park, which is another terrific birding location this time of the year.
This is a lovely Audubon preserve area with access by foot to a small group of trails one can easily maneuver most of within an hour or so.
