It had been more than 10 years since we visited and there have been major changes. We had limited time so spent the morning exploring sections 4 and 3. 4 is brand new. Loved seeing the IBMs. All the experimental planes were sharp. There is just the right amount of information given on each of them. You do not need to be into flying or war history to enjoy this place. Only disappointment was the mock up of the space shuttle. There are interactive experiences, but get there early or you will wait in line.

Original Packard dealership, which is now a museum. Call ahead and arrange for a tour. Jim, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and patient. Answered all our questions about the cars and the building. So much information that you wouldn't get on a self guided tour.

The Wright Cycle Complex is located next to the main building in Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park and is part of the park. There is only one room in the building that is open, so it only takes a few minutes to visit. However, it's well worth stopping into to see the Wright's workshop, tools, and bicycles.

The National Aviation Hall of Fame is found inside the museum of the Air Force, between the first and second hangar. It includes many of the greats of aviation. The honorees are arranged by era. Each has their own plaque with a small bio. I found several of my aviation heroes there.

Very interesting tour learning about Paul Laurence Dunbar, his mother, and the history of the house.

If you like British cars make an effort to check this out. This was such an off-beat find. I was thinking traditional car museum, it is more like a working garage. This makes it really neat. The wealth of knowledge to be learned from these guys is priceless. I am working to restore a mini currently and they offered tons of advice.
I have not seen so many vintage minis anywhere.

Make sure to check in advance that someone will be in.

Great little place with a wonderful staff of volunteers. Spent longer than I expected to because the staff was so interesting and knowledgable.
