Central Park in New York City is a true urban oasis, a haven of tranquility amidst the bustling metropolis. Its sprawling green spaces, scenic pathways, and picturesque ponds offer respite from the city's hustle and bustle. Visitors can enjoy a myriad of activities, from picnics and leisurely strolls to boating on the lake and attending outdoor concerts. The park's iconic landmarks, such as Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge, provide perfect photo opportunities, while its vibrant atmosphere and diverse flora and fauna make it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike.

Having your Ticket a head of time is a plus! Very well organized on moving people along.... stop and get your picture inside the hand of King Kong, some great pictures here. I was impressed by the way they had the history walk through. Of course viewing from the observation deck was amazing to see the city.
Impression was very clean and organized to move people along without feeling rushed.

What a great use for a derelict railway line. Some of the art along the route is a bit odd but keeps the walk interesting. I walked from Hudson Yard to Chelsea market which was really nice. Maybe not enough shaded areas for me as the Sun was quite intense that day but the whole walk felt peaceful which is always great to have in the middle of a city.

Absolutely amazing! The talent is unbelievable, and the storytelling is genius! The band, the dancers, and the actor playing Michael were just incredible. This show is amazing.

Great way to see some spectacular views of New York. Probably the best view over Central Park. There is a new attraction called The Beam but unfortunately it was out of order when we visited.

Brooklyn Bridge was the world's first steel wire suspension bridge; we took a quick trip from North Slope neighborhood and walked across Brooklyn Bridge to New York. Brooklyn Bridge was a good walk, it takes around a mile or so between the two New York boroughs, Brooklyn and Manhattan. There's a hiker-biker path for public use. Brooklyn Bridge opened in 1883. There are six lanes for vehicles -- no trucks!

We did the early morning crown access pass to SOL and had an amazing experience. The museum is cool but climbing to the top of the SOL was simply amazing. It's narrow and tight but it can be done!

A must see. Grab a table at Cecconi's and watch the world come and go whilst having a Bellini. Its so beautiful and worth a good walk around. Go downstairs and visit the famous Oyster bar and whisper into the vaulted ceiling corner to corner. Its iconic and the setting for so many famous fashion pics and movies. Just stunning.

The Manhattan Skyline is a very impressive view and reminds me of when New York features in films and tv shows. It was great seeing this view for free from the Staten Island Ferry.

A spectacle you have to visit. Over the top as expecred. Just watching people is fun enough. A few avoidable touristtraps.

I have seen the statue of liberty 2 different ways. The first time was on the ferry to Lady Liberty and to Ellis Island. The second time was on a tour boat of the harbor. This time, I read many reviews about how the Staten Island Ferry was the way to go and was FREE. We waited 15 minutes for the ferry and enjoyed a 15-minute ride to Staten Island where we disembarked and went inside the terminal and recorded the ferry and headed back to Manhattan. 1 hour long and free trip. There are great views of the City and the Statue. This was by far the best of the 3 ways to see her without getting too close and spending too much time. After our ferry trip, we saw a very long line waiting for the Statue ferry. There is no way I would have waited in the line for over an hour.

Nice park adjacent to the New York public library. We used this area a lot during our visit to NYC to take a break, sit in the shade, eat lunch, etc. There is a Whole Foods close by and restaurants where you can get a snack, meal, or drink, and then sit in the park to relax.

One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the US and the observatory offers 360 degree views for miles. The history and the legacy is awing, as you think about how this tourist destination would not exist had it not been for 9/11. I went on a clear day and had great views. The price isn’t horrible if you just do the standard admission. To me, it’s nothing I would need to experience again but overall it is worth the experience.

You need to go to see it at least once. The Rockettes are around the corner. There’s shopping, food, people watching. Fun to see!

Absolutely amazing Museum. This museum puts DC's Smithsonian to shame. Such great exhibits and amazingly presented. Not sure if its because there is a fee to enter compared to Smithsonian, but $100 for a whole family is not much and you can easily spend most of the day in here. We were her in the summer and it was not that crazy busy.. first you need to avoid the long lineup at the Central Park door and go to the back where there is never a line.. Also, the parking below is easy and cheap and it saves you tons of time walking around.
Kids loved seeing all the places that were in "Night at the Museum" movies and just an overall great place to spend a day.
