Definitely worth the trip if you have time. You don't go that close the Statue of Liberty but you do get a decent view of it and an amazing view of downtown Manhattan (e.g., world trade centre etc.). No need to prebook to reserve tickets just show up. Don't get catch up in tourist traps trying to sell you expense boat trips and just head to the ferry terminal. About 30mins each way and run ever half hour (e.g., 12:00, 12:30. 1:00 etc), so if you want to return straight back to Manhattan you will have to RUN to get back on return ferry or wait another 30mins to next one! Overall great experience that is free so I cannot complain.

Even though there are other options to get to Roosevelt Island, this is a must-do!!!
The view is incredible and even if you are afraid of other trams this one is so smooth you will not think you are on one.

NYC Perfect Transportation provided transportation from JFK to Manhattan for our family. We were met by Jose at baggage claim and he assisted us with our baggage to the SUV. Jose was very professional and courteous. We had an excellent experience we Perfect Transportation and would use them again.

Took the bus to Six Flags Great Adventure.
I was really scared due to all negative reviews but the bus has arrived and brought us on time.
Besides that is was petty comfortable and the driver was nice.

We were appreciative of the staff that were available to assist with getting us to where we needed to go with children - in particular a stroller. Worth mentioning and giving a shout out is "Clemens" who we met at the stop for the Statute of Liberty (Battery Park). Not only did he walk out with us to show us what direction to go, he also explained the different options for payment and card types that we should use and where to purchase the cards. He went above and beyond by giving us his personal card just to show us the example of which card to buy...and it still had money on it! He really made out day. We met police officers who helped guide us as well. Our largest frustration was the lack of signage getting in and out of stations with. elevator locations. As a result we carried a stroller up and down MANY stairs that was an inconvenience at best that could be easily resolved with signage. Second largest frustration was the lack of explanation of what type of ticket to buy. The machines referred to the ticket types but many tourists (including us) were baffled at what that actually translated to on the purchase screen. The trains were fairly clean, very affordable, and efficient coming regularly and timely.

Absolutely outstanding. We used this service twice, first time from JFK to a hotel downtown and the second from Cape Liberty Port to JFK. Booked both trips from the Uk in advance. Our driver Benjamin was brilliant on both occasions. He was waiting in arrivals for us on our first trip and was prompt and on time for our second keeping us informed as to his location at the port post cruise. Absolutely 5* service on both occasions. He was informative and knowledgable giving us information on areas we passed through. The car was super clean and comfy. Would highly;y recommend.

My son had a day off from school so I took the day off from work and got us tickets to the Intrepid so he wasn't home all day staring at a screen. I never take the ferry across the river because the train or the tunnel (if driving) are much more convenient and cheaper. The downtown stop is a better stop closer to the action but the midtown stop is only good if you are going to Javitz or the Intrepid.

The cost is too much, the journey is on a less frequent schedule than the train and the parking at Port Imperial is also too much.

So yeah, if this is your first time or if you are a local showing someone the city, this is a nice journey. If you want in and out quickly, take a train.

King and Queen went over and above in their compassion and understanding when I requested my deposit be refunded as I had to cancel. There were many medical issues involved and I was unable to make my NY trip I give King & Queen exceptionally high marks and will definitely use their services in the near future.

Excellent car service. I scheduled several trips with them for our visit to NYC. Drivers were courteous and on time. Cars are newer models and very clean. I will definitely use them again on our next trip to the city.

Good and fast way to get from Jersey City to NYC, as we did on a daily basis. The ticket machines are a nightmare, as you need to enter the postcode of your credit card.

A member of staff had to explain that, but there’s no sense entering a vice dixit postcode if you’re not from the US. To bypass this, you can enter five zeros.

We had to use the ticket machines, because you cannot tap your contactless card when using a stroller to pass the barriers. Multiple credit cards got rekeyed, and only worked after multiple attempts of buying tickets. Recommend to use cash if you’re in a hurry and need a single ticket, because buying with a credit card is a lengthy process. The ticket you buy, gets ‘eaten’ by the machine if you use it to pass the barrier. Making the whole ticket buying process for PATH a very red tape thing to do.

Other than that we had no troubles with PATH, part from elevators not working.

Let's start with the basics. I paid almost $4000 for 4 of us to travel on the Amtrack roomette...nearly as much as I pay for my entire 5 day Disney vacation, so here's my feedback:

    1) I booked all 4 tickets at the same time but we were assigned roomettes in two entirely different cars. When I asked onboard if we could be switched to be in the same car, they said it would be too confusing and they couldn't do it.

    2) Both trips we had older equipment, not at all like what we saw in the Amtrak video.

    3) We were 3 hours late getting to Orlando from NYC. We were told it was due to an extra long delay with the switchover from electric to diesel because they couldn't find an engineer. Also they had to go slow due to the heat.

    4) Very poor / weak wifi connection and no video streaming at all. In this day and age you can have high quality video streaming in an airplane at 10,000 feet..but not from a train?

    5) Some parts of the ride were very rough. At 4 am was awoken with a major bump like we ran over a bowling ball or something.

    6) Overall food quality was good, but little selection and no flexibility.

LUNCH: Everything came with potato chips..no french fries. And a hot dog with no toppings, not even onions or sauerkraut. There was chili on the menu, so I asked the attendant if they could put a little on my hot dog and they said no it couldn't be done

DINNER: One server 7 tables overwhelmed

    7) Had to wait 30 minutes for person to come turn the berth from beds back to benches, finally gave up and did it myself. When she finally did show up, she said she was up late and had to sleep late so she got her required 5 hours sleep.

    8) No clear annoucements, or direction from onboard staff about the status of the trip, or upcoming stations, etc. stops direction etc

    9) Bathrooms, announcements were telling us to keep the bathrooms clean, that the staff were not maids and they don't clean the bathrooms and if we didnt keep them clean they would close them. No toilet brushes or cleaning sprays were made available, even if we did want to clean the bathrooms ourselves.

I'm paying nearly four grand to ride this train and I have to clean the bathrooms and can't even get a spoonful of chili on my m hot dog...are you kidding me !!!l

You people should be bending over backwards to accomodate ANY REASONABLE REQUEST a First Class passenger makes....overall disappointing.

The airport terminals have been renovated. Follow signage to bag claim and ground transportation. You'll have to look around to find the carousel for your bags. La Guardia is in Queens on the Long Island Sound. To get into the city take a taxi or a pre-arranged shuttle or car service. You can take public transportation but it's not suitable if you are a large party or have many bags. The Q70 is a free shuttle bus that goes directly to the 7, F and E trains. There are also slower local trains but stick to the express trains. One stop and you're at the train station. Check the MTA map to be sure to know which train is best for your location. You might want to transfer once in Manhattan. Unless you're a senior, student, or disabled, you can just tap a credit card for the train entry gates. But as of this date you can still buy a Metro Card from the machine. Put funds on or select a 7-day pass. Use the same credit card each time you enter a fare gate. There's some kind of sensible rule about going free after you use a certain amount of daily funds. Use the train a lot. Best way to get around. If you see an attendant at the station booth, ask for a subway map. That's it.

The bus terminal itself is quite well laid out and organised in terms of boarding and alighting but the reason i'v e given it a 3 is the staff. Do not expect any of the ticket office staff to be helpful in anyway shape or form. I was heading to Asbury Park for the day and thought it would be easier to try and buy a ticket from the ticket office. I asked for a return to Asbury Park to be told 'we don't go there' next question i asked was 'well what about to Freehold then where I have to change'. Response was ' try gray line or trailways we don't go there' Not to be undone, I googled the journey again, found the bus number, went to ticket machine and bough a return from NYC to Freehold on a NJ transit bus where, according to the bone idle ticket vendor they don't go to, got off at Freehold, bought a return ticket to Asbury Park on an NJ transit bus where t6hey don't go to.
Moral of the story is, plan your journey before you go, you need the bus number to be able to buy a ticket from the machines. Don't waste time with the staff, you'll only get upset and end up missing your bus!

This is the second time that I've used NYC Rich Limo, and the reason was that they were outstanding the 1st time. They didn't disappoint! Our driver met us at the airport (he was there early), took us to the 1st hotel in Westchester, picked us up there for the trip into Manhattan, and finally back to the airport when our vacation was over. Our driver, Alex, was always early, a great driver, and he made things easy. It doesn't get any better than that- kudos the NYC Rich Limo for their exceptional service.

Pickup from JFK airport to hotel. Pickup Instructions given not clear. Pickup driver did not greet, just grabbed suitcase to put in trunk. He did not speak with us at all and did not ask for drop off verification. He was taking personal calls while driving and looking at phone while on road . “Due to traffic,” he told my family that we would have to walk 1/2 to 1 block to get to hotel and that is what he did. Looking at situation he could have dropped us off in front of hotel. Very disappointed at lack of professionalism. Also used company for hotel to JFK drop off. Same thing. Different driver did not even greet. Again, he did not verify drop off location. Not happy.
