Hey after walking klms for a drink around WTC with a view to the water to collect my thoughts, I found this place friendly and the wine menu was pretty good.
It looks like you enter a place run by a madam with the dim red lights and cosy corners but it's great. Our waiter was fairly new ut made up his lack of expertise by his really touching willingness to make sure your experience was good. The champagne selection is great. The bites are copious so no need for dinner afterwards. The only drawback is that the excellent mix of music , French usa, hiphop soul etc are only covers sung by some obscure groups and not the originals . But we'll be back
Great spot to relax, enjoy a great coffee and be in the moment. The team was welcoming and the location really had a comfy local vibe. Highly recommend
Just visited with my daughter and nephew. We enjoyed the rooms and experiences. It was not crowded at all, which was nice. As with everywhere, NYC is very hot right now. The space was very warm and had little air flow. Staff said the AC was maxed out. I can't imagine if it had been crowded with people how much hotter it would have been. They said the acrylic paint contributes to holding heat in the spaces??? I feel if that's true and they know that- some fans and portable units need to be (painted! and) added. It would have made the afternoon much more enjoyable.
We tried a few interesting skin contact wines at this wine bar while awaiting a reservation at a nearby restaurant. There is an interesting section of unusual wines by the glass and a much bigger array by the bottle. Definitely a fun place to try some unique wines.
Buckle your pants and get ready to have an "out of the box" experience in this cool, exotic bar. Enough said! Don't want to ruin the surprise and fun. Simply relax, go with an open mind, NO JUDGEMENT and have fun! You deserve it!
