Just know...the earlier you get there, the closer you sit to the stage. The closer you are to the stage, the more likely you are to be singled out. We thought it was great! We were to the left of the stage so we got called out several times. It was all in good fun! The servers were slammed and still kept the drinks coming! The comedians were funny. No big names while we were there but still they kept us laughing, even at ourselves.

We went to All Stars Night at the 7:30 pm show. The comedians were amazing. The crowd was so diverse and fun. This show is a must-see. We will be back!

We took our teens (17 & 19) with us to see ASSSSCAT 3000. The show can get racy at times, but nothing they haven’t heard in an R-rated movie. We enjoyed the improv comedy, both for the laughs and because it was interesting to see how the comedians work through it. The price for tickets is right. They serve alcoholic drinks for a fair price. The neighborhood isn’t great.

The menu was quite varied and the service was excellent. The cake was excellent, and it wasn't too loud inside.

I heard about this place and dropped by to see the Improv Jam which was like open mic night for improv people. I had a couple beers at the bar and enjoyed talking with Randy who was very sharp and was able to explain a lot about the Improv process. The Jam itself was just people working from a word given by an audience member. There were slow periods but there were some really funny moments and I enjoyed seeing people work at it. It was a very casual supportive environment and I had a good time.

If y’all know of anyone who will be in NYC on May 23rd, a kid-friendly superhero musical web series will be screening with live vocals while the film is running! . They have won awards/nominations at film/web festivals: Orlando Film Festival and #stareable web fest.

Our first time here but a great one. Front of house staff are helpful and friendly. We went on a “new talent” night and saw somewhere between 10 and 15 comedians, each of whom had about 10-15 minutes each. They were hit or miss but overall, we had a great time seeing new talent.

So I had a spare night and decided to try the mid town club, purchased for $25 pp on line that night. When we arrived at midtown they told us it was in fact east town. This changed from the website to the checkout but not an issue just a cab ride for $10.
I was made aware of the $18 min spends which again was fine. The show was good although I didn’t realise it might where the acts tried new jokes but luckily they were funny. Service was fine no real issues.

We did receive a return ticket for free so decided to go again on the second night. Emailed and arranged it with no issues.

On arriving I was advised the same as the night before. But this time we had a pushy waitress who incident we ordered more drinks as 3 cocktails at $16 was not enough despite me telling her the maths. I was happy to order more and said we would on last orders which was not called like the previous night. Due to this female asking 5/6 times throughout the evening took the piss and I missed some of the acts and honestly ruined my night. Turned out she also charged me a service charge and tip. So cost me 40% but I suppose I should have checked the fine print. All in all great first night ruined by the second which was free. 50/50

Huge shout out to the comics who performed the night I got to go. They were truly phenomenal. I've been to several comedy clubs, and most are worth a chuckle or two, but this place had us in stitches. I can't credit the mandatory booze you must purchase, either, since none of us could even taste the alcohol. So, 5000 stars for the entertainment; 0 stars for the horrible overpriced (non)alcoholic drinks.

I laughed a lot. Don’t remember how many comics performed but it was a great 90 minutes. Well organized. Good beer. Didn’t try the tacos but they looked good. Thank you. I plan on coming back.

Good times for a decent price. You can get tickets last minute rather inexpensive and they do a nice job. It’s funny improv. About an hour so it’s not real long which is nice if you want a little fun laugh

The one show I watched wasn't amazing but the place has a good vibe and friendly staff. I came with my wheelchair hoping the place will be accessible and found it reasonably accessible for a short visit (don't think the bathroom was accessible).

This was just a fun time. Plain and simple. This venue is small, but that’s okay; it was just the right size for this event. Good times!

The show was fine. We wanted an easy activity for a group of five and had purchased Saturday night tickets two weeks in advance (three of us were traveling to NYC). We were well aware of the $18/person minimum spend. We were unhappy with where we were seated and our server.

We were not the last group to arrive (actually arrived at 7:40p for the 8:00p show), but were placed in the far corner of the room where our group watched the entire show from the side and behind the acts. Other groups arrived after us, but they were placed in tables closer to the center. Many center seats were never even filled during the show. There is a warning on the ticket about getting ejected if folks were to request different seats, so we didn’t feel the need to ruin the event for everyone. I was just confused that if I had gotten the same number of tickets but purchase them in groups of two or three and then showed up at the same time, my group could have gotten better seating. Felt kind of punished for purchasing our tickets at once and in advance.

Our server waited until after the show started to take our orders. When I asked for a cosmopolitan, she asked if I wanted the house’s alcohol. I asked for a certain vodka and she responded that they didn’t use vodka in their cosmos. Confused, I said I would take it with the house’s alcohol. I also asked for popcorn and she told me they were out. So I asked for a can of Pringles.

She brings back drinks to our table and two from my group were surprised with the flavors of their drinks (they made incorrectly). She gave me a piña colada (a completely incorrect drink). I only realized this after my group wanted to verify everyone got their drinks (ahem, like after the current act was concluded because we didn’t want to be rude). So I told the server that I was served someone else’s drink and she scolded me that I had ordered a piña colada. She returned with a half-sized plastic cup with green liquid (cosmos are pink!) which I tried and determined still was not a cosmo.

She was delivering popcorn to other people in the room throughout the evening and never brought my can of chips. She took last call orders from my group and then came back with items we didn’t order. She responded that she was “helping” us get to our required minimum, specifically using her nose to point at me for not having met my minimum spend. We would have easily met the threshold had she visited us regularly and delivered the items we actually wanted. Perhaps New York Comedy Club will allow guests to preorder their items to avoid these issues in the future.

The acts were good for up-and-coming performers. We enjoy attending these live events to support live comedians especially after a year and a half of not being able to do so. I really wanted to provide a better report, but obviously I didn’t have more than a sip of anything so the above certainly was not dreamt up. It is sad that the venue couldn’t deliver a better experience for the audience. We will consider other stand-up comedy venues in the future.
