My wife and I sailed with Jake on Monday and had the time of our lives. We were told we had one of the luckiest tours on record in that we saw dolphins at least 5 times, and every single time Jake turned the boat so that we could watch them. A couple of times they came right up to the boat. We also saw a sub leave the harbor, and the naval base was conducting exercises, so we saw navy ships, planes, jets and helicopters sailing past us or flying over us the entire trip.
Jake knew my wife and I were there to sail, so he had the motor off almost the entire trip. We also asked to see the ocean, so he took us out as far as time would allow.
The boat was amazing! Stocked to the max with drinks and snacks. There are abundant spaces to sit. My wife was a little scared, so she spent the whole trip in one place, but I explored the whole boat, and spent most of my time basking in the moment on the bow of the boat.
Although only 20 years old, Jake is one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met when it comes to the ocean.
This is an absolute must do trip for anybody that is curious about sailing and loves the water. My wife and I are going to be back, and this time we are bringing the kids.
Thank you Sail San Diego, and thank you Jake for the amazing experience!
