We chose this to see out of a multitude in the Escondido Valley with it being the oldest. With this being a lull in the tourist season, we walked in and was able to get a wine tasting without a reservation. The tasting came with an additional treat; the opportunity to sample some chocolates with our tasting from a chocolate shop just down the courtyard of this village setting. Salut!

Best place to have a glass of wine if you are around this area. They have a great variety of wines and even wine tasting.
Excellent view for the Embarcadero and San Diego Bay.

Stopped in when down at the ocean and was surprised. The wine is actually made there and tasted good. Tasting price was wavied upon a purchase so another good deal. Wine clerk knew her stuff and was very friendly. A nice shop with a great wine barrel slat wall. Go and try it as they had some wines I have not tried before. Parking can be close or far away because it San Diego. Open at 2PM-9PM.

Two planks vineyard is roughly across the street from the mango Walmart shopping zone in Vista. After a day of shopping stop by and we ordered a tasting round of reds which included about five reds and one pinot. Very strong flavored fruit forward wines. We wound up purchasing a few bottles of their DBX and their Pinot noir rozay. The whole cost was about $60.

Looking for a place to relax an unwind. located in an industrial park near Carmel mountain ranch is a great place. Lisa and Darius make you feel at home they're home. all the wines at Bay sell and serve are made on premises with grape source from around California.
