It was a nice place to walk around with nice views of the harbour. The shops were cute and fun, but quite touristy and overpriced. The restaurant we went to had a nice view, but it was overpriced for food that was average. Overall a pretty good experience.

Nice Outdoor Mall experience. I haven't been to one before that was outside, I am from the Northeast and I am used to everything being indoors. I visited JC Penny to buy something I didn't have enough of on my first trip to San Diego along with visiting the food court for dinner one evening. I hope it is able to stay open in the future.

took the trolleys there about 45 minutes from old town, walked across the walk bridge by the boarder, there are bargins but you need to search for them clean and tidy , the staff in all the shops very welcoming and helpful, we went twice and got trainers there , there are bins for your boxes if needed, a good place to shop.

Food / drinks market has plenty of options to chose from. Aside from the market there is not much else at Liberty station, I certainly wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to visit. If passing it’s a nice stop, plenty of parking and on the bus 28 route from old town.

I tried the mini donuts which were ok and the coffee stand but the coffee was lukewarm.

Great outdoor market which takes place rain or shine. I was there on a rare rainy Sunday & the market was prepared. Vendors had tent covers & the place was packed! Locals kept apologizing for the weather - which as a tourist made me laugh. If you are visiting from out of town there is a decent amount of fresh fruit & veggies. So if you have just arrived, and are staying a few days - stock up here instead of going to local supermarket. They also have unique one of-a-kind crafts/jewelry/candles. What I also liked was that all of the artists who made products were there (at least what I bought).

A very nice village to walk through. There are not a lot of shops there but there is a good variety though. Nice woodworking shops.

Definitely check this out and of course completely free but don’t expect to come out empty handed. Centered in Little Italy. Reminds me of a European market with flowers and fresh fruit. The mushroom vendor had an amazing array of well presented edible shrooms of all sorts. We picked up locally produced fresh organic apples, pineapple guava and macadamias. Theres a French guy selling breakfast paninis and they are tasty. Highly recommended.

I visited here during a one week stay in San Diego. The location isn’t exactly right next to the tram station, however, is within walking distance for those who are relatively fit and can stand the heat. There are a large variety of retailers here including major brands such as Nike, Adidas, Footlocker, Asics, Nautica and others. It’s a great location for having so many outlet stores in one spot and the prices are generally great! There were some food and drink options available though some of these had shut for the day (I did visit on the 2nd January though) or didn’t open at all. Overall a good experience and next time I’m in San Diego I’d happily visit again to snap up some bargains!

I found this outdoor mall to be delightful. There were many stores that I always shop at when home. There is a fountain in the middle of the mall where you can sit and people watch. Parking was easy and the first 2 hours are free. If you are a shopaholic like I am this mall is a nice place to visit.

Our guide, Scott, was knowledgeable, easy-going and lots of fun to ride along the Pacific Coast with. We loved exploring the ecological preserve, seeing sea lions and harbor seals, and getting to watch and learn about surfing. I highly recommend this tour. Bikes are easy to ride too!

We were lucky enough to visit during the international exhibition in October. Not only was it free to enter but the paintings were fresh, modern, beautiful and interesting. The staff were friendly and chatted to us about the watercolours and artists. They even have a public vote for your favourite painting. We liked this gallery much more that the slightly stuffy art museum in Balboa Park filled with old oil paintings.

This place not only has such a varied selection of wares (Asian, contemporary, collectible, Victorian, eclectic) but the prices are really reasonable - and several items are marked down. Lots of furniture, figurines, dinnerware, cutlery, glassware, jewelry, etc. You could spend over an hour just looking around. Many unique items and all high quality. We ended up buying some glassware and jewelry and nice to this non-profit donates to dozens of animal welfare causes.

Old Town Market is chocked full of vendors selling lots of Mexican unique artisans type items such as clothing, jewelry, and ceramic goods. They also have a museum inside where you can learn about the local history. Food, wine and alcoholic drinks such as wine and Margaritas are available here as well. Walk slow and take in each vendor display...you might find that hidden treasure that you have been looking for.
