It's got everything you need and it's a high end place. Great place to visit with your family but you will dent your wallet! Parking is free, people are nice, good crowd. Perfect place for a family walk around.

Great shopping for Aussies but you'll likely spend the whole day there as there are a lot of stores. Found heaps of bargains. Drove for the first time in the USA from downtown San Diego and it was easy going down the freeway and took about 20 mins. You can take a light rail from downtown San Diego instead if preferred but the drive was easy and more convenient. Arrived at opening and there were lots of parking. My 81 year old mother and I felt safe the whole time there. Nicely landscaped with areas to rest and have something to eat. Went twice so would definately recommend.

Very pleasant way to spend 1-2 hours on a Sunday morning. Came here with our family of five (all adults). Lots of tents with arts and crafts, more tents with food stalls (and good food at that!). It is good if you come when you're hungry. LOL There is also a very big farmers market where you can get fresh and organic fruits and vegetables. My wife and I got some vegetables and tomatoes for dinner. Somehow my son came back having bought a pound of pastrami! It was very good. We ate it for lunch later. His girlfriend ate a gluten free tamale at one of the stands and enjoyed it very much. And my daughter bought a very nice souvenir candle for a friend. All in all a good trip. Would recommend.

Fantastic food court - every kind of food you can imagine. Fun just to walk around and browse. Something for everyone! Plenty of outdoor seating. Then walk around the campus or over to the inlet on the bay. Jets from San Diego International Airport take off just overhead, if you like loud plane-watching.

Great place to kick around for a while, looking at wonderful art of all kinds, sometimes being made right in front of you by the artists themselves. Good place to get gift items. There is a small coffee cart too. Make sure you get there at least 2 hrs before closing time.

What a great way to spend a Saturday morning. The market spans several city blocks and has so many offerings from fresh fruits and veggies, smoothies, a variety of food vendors, gluten-free baked goods, jewelry, art, hats, etc. I particularly enjoyed the cold pressed lavender almond milk from The Mulk Co. Very unique and fresh tasting. Atmosphere of the Mercato is fun and lively with music. Parking can be difficult so Uber or bus are best options. Definitely coming back on my next trip to San Diego.

Wonderful outdoor mall that has updated continuously since I shopped there years ago. It now has upscale restaurants new stores and other amenities. New to me is the underground parking now available. Updated decor creates nice ambiance for both relaxing and calming experience. Go for coffee and relax in comfy chairs under canopies or under the sun. Great place just to walk, relax or shop or eat.

    $3 admission, $2 for seniors

    Plenty of paved parking.

Lots of vendors and lots of junk. Vendors have very high prices for their "antiques".

I did find one die-cast London Bus, which I paid a buck for.

Spent the morning here. Peed in a port-o-potty...lol

Lots of good food options. We did Mexican one night and Italian the other. Evenings especially on the weekends are almost impossible to find parking unless you park in the parking garage and it is $45. If you are local in a hotel, just walk there.

Beautiful winery with great variety of food, drink and shops. Go on the weekend, more places open, more events going on. Parking can be an issue, but you can park on street

Great place to buy fish of all kinds. Didn’t know they will actually cut the fish for you too but that’s an important tip! Prices were great - got 4 big pieces for $80

This place not only has such a varied selection of wares (Asian, contemporary, collectible, Victorian, eclectic) but the prices are really reasonable - and several items are marked down. Lots of furniture, figurines, dinnerware, cutlery, glassware, jewelry, etc. You could spend over an hour just looking around. Many unique items and all high quality. We ended up buying some glassware and jewelry and nice to this non-profit donates to dozens of animal welfare causes.
