I've been in the Boston area for over 4 years and this was the perfect tour! I went with a few friends and we had a blast.
Adam's tour included history of the Back Bay area, architecture and each establishment's origin story. I knew I would love the chocolate part of this tour and I've always enjoyed art, but these galleries stole the show!
Each gallery had different art mediums including pottery, paintings, drawings, sculptures and unique abstract pieces of art. Adam had a great repertoire with the Gallerist and they were available if we had any specific questions about a piece of work. One of the galleries continuously rotates artist's exhibits from all over the world and they also had well known pieces like a Rembrandt drawing! Another is almost like walking through a maze of art constantly grabbing your attention. A little bonus was that we strolled by the Boston's Women Memorial near Newbury Street. These are places I would have probably never come across despite roaming around that area many times before.
Now the chocolate treats were top tier. We had the richest hot chocolate in one of the fanciest chocolate stores. We had the cutest and most "punny" cupcakes from a spot that originated in Cape Cod. I was most excited for the tik tok viral cookies (there was a vegan option too!). We learned that many of these places were women owned businesses which was cool! We ended the trip at the Prudential Center, and it truly was a great experience. You get a lot from this tour and the walk was lovely!
We could tell it was well organized, but didn't feel rushed at all. Adam answered all of our questions and was very kind! I would 100% recommend Up and Adam food tours, they guy knows his stuff! :)
