What travelers are saying
- GoPlaces7922414 contributionsThe auto museum was super cool. Tom there shared a great amount of history and information about the area in just a few minutes when we walked in the door. He really made our visit interesting and worthwhile! There's also a small museum of the village which was interesting, with a gallery of lots of beautiful art for sale. So not a lot to see necessarily but loved Tom and the auto museum!Written August 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Since I didn’t have time to visit the River Arts District, I was glad to visit the Woolworth Walk and even bought some art pieces.Written August 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Itravelalot1981Illinois204 contributionsThe place is large with lots of interesting things. Some of the booths are insanely overpriced, while others reasonable. A lot of overlap in things in some of the booths. But there are a lot of unique booths to.Written April 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Eaton_OutGreenville, SC635 contributionsThis is physically a very nice outlet mall but it is still missing some key players (Ecco Shoes is one that comes to mind). Tanger just bought this mall and hopefully they will bring in new stores. The Dillards Outlet has been cleaned up and a lot of old merchandise moved out but......it is overwhelming and the mall would be better served if this store left and an array of new smaller stores were recruited.Written January 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MrsPsPicksButler, PA520 contributionsWe wandered in and out of shops and galleries for a full day. We appreciate the artists' creative talents. - jgbtravelsLouisville, KY4,628 contributionsAlthough one of my sisters was disappointed in not finding some cheeses, etc. I felt that it was a considerable sized farmers market for a city this size. Now we did pick up some strawberries and peaches and did find some unusual jelly to take back to her husband. It’s a good place to stretch your legs after a long ride to get to Asheville and find a few things to eat for later at the vrbro. OK, the South Carolina peaches do not taste as good as the Georgia peaches but the strawberries were very good,Written June 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelMooreFourPittsburgh, PA83 contributionsI have visited the gallery and also ordered two custom pieces from Stephen. The pictures don't even do them justice. They are so alive and brilliant in person. I truly love his work and style and will continue to be a customer in the future.Written December 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alice DMars Hill, NC, United States11 contributionsThis thrift shop is fun. Whether you find something there or not, it's fun to look. Clothes, household items and home decor items are all represented. I went to one of the estate sales in the back of the building and fell in love with a framed picture. I didn't buy it, and the next time it was still there. I still didn't buy it. And at the next estate sale I went to, it was gone. I felt bad, and after looking around the estate sale some more, I went back into the thrift shop. I looked up, and there was the picture, marked WAY down. Apparently if something does not sell in one of the every 2 week estate sales for a long time , it could end up in the thrift shop! Not everything, I'm sure, but it was such a find for me!. The place is nice and clean and has some very good things. Clothing, furniture even small appliances and linens. Frames, pictures, seasonal items, shoes, and handbags show up too.. I bought a very nice little cart for $5.00! Try this shop, you'll like it!Written January 3, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 56jet74 contributionsWhile visiting Asheville my wife and I enjoyed the every Thursday 7-10 jazz jam. First hour was a local trio followed by local musicians sitting in. Great time and vibe. Staff and musicians very much appreciated the attendance. $10 donation suggested for the art center. Enjoy.Written September 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
