We saw Madeleine Peyroux who was opened up by Fantastic Negreto. I loved the venue, great acoustics. Wider and less deep than many, maybe look for a seat closer to the middle.

This was a very comprehensive experience. It started with Walt’s grandparents so you got a flavour of the type of upbringing he received from his parents and grandparents. It gave us all kinds of little tidbits on him as a young man and his early career. We really liked the special exhibit – cats and dogs. Just be prepared to walk a fair amount to get to a separate building for this exhibit. We really enjoyed this and would highly recommend it to any Disney fan.

This place not only has the visual explanation for how cable cars operate but there is an original cable car dating back to 1873.
This was most interesting as it looked very different than the ones today.
Also there were pictures on the wall of the great earthquake of 1906 showing how the road split and pushed up and of the fire and people fleeing.
I went on a Sunday afternoon and did not realize they closed early.
I would have liked more time here.

It is a trail for hiking and trekking and has good viewpoints for the Golden Gate. The landscape there is gorgeous and allows beautiful pictures.

The whole play was superb and the cast were amazing! I was totally drawn to the storyline down to the acting performance. What an amazing experience!

It is huge and diverse, and we did not see it all but based on what we did see, it is easy to give it a five star review. We took the city walks tour which included the history both as a military structure and as a park as well as more recentuses such as sets for movies. I would highly advise the tour as there would be no way to know much of what we learned. We had met someone who lived there for a few years and after spending some time realized how delightful that would’ve been.

On our trip, we entered San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge and the first site we stopped at was Fort Point. Various forts have been constructed on this point to protect San Francisco Bay since 1784 when the Spanish constructed Castillo de San Joaquin near this site. The current version of the fort was constructed from 1854-1861 and then modified in 1892. Forts like this are interesting to visit, since there are not many similar historical-type forts in the US. It also provides a great view from underneath the Golden Gate Bridge as it stretches out across the San Francisco Bay. The fort offers guided tours and has a small theater with a short, informative film.

Beautiful both inside AND outside... with the latter being quite scenic! Great little collections of art here, would revisit.

This is a beautiful place with amazing views. It's also a sobering place in our country's immigration history. I appreciated the chance to experience both sides of Angel Island. The ferry trip from Tiburon was only 15 minutes and provided a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge in the fog. It is about a 30 minute walk / climb (1.3 miles one way) from the dock to the area with the Barracks Museum and the Immigration Station Museum. Immigrants were held in the barracks for weeks or months in crowded rooms, where they carved emotional poems in Chinese into the walls. The exhibits provide a lot of information about discrimination against Asian immigrants. The building has only been preserved versus restored, so it felt authentic and you can really imagine the conditions faced by the immigrants. If coming from Tiburon, note that you'll have to park in one of the public lots in town for at least $5 and allow extra time to walk to the dock. We took the 11:00 ferry there and the 1:20 ferry back, which wasn't enough time to see both museums. I'd recommend taking the 10:00 instead.

Little over priced. But pretty neat if you’ve never been in a submarine. Your is self guided/ on your phone. If you have mobility issues this is not the place for you.

So much detail, there are steps all over the city. nearby are the hidden garden steps too. A work of art, the detail really did surpass my expectations.

Beautiful. Peaceful. Go in the early morning, and though you’ll have to dodge out of the way for a bike or two, it’s mostly empty outside if that. Well worth it.

We made a walk through the Mission District and saw the most famous mural alleys, like this one. While Clarion is the most impressive, Balmy is not bad at all either. Sometimes you see small groups with a guide, it is part of some city tours.
