Spent several hours here with a 12, 6 and 4 year old. They had a blast. There is so much to see and do. Definitely worth going.

This is a nice combination of an Aquarium, Rainforest/Atrium, and planetarium. So much to do. Cannot recommend the VIP tour highly enough. Very educational and you get to explore spaces unavailable to general admission--bone archives and Fish archives.

Was an excellent exhibit and very informative especially Walt's family photos and history. There was also a free bus going back into town.

This place while beautiful would have been great if we had come as a couple but with our full family there there was nothing interesting or appealing for our kids to see. We had a beautiful view for lunch at Hog Island Oyster Co. But kids were so disappointed in the lack of sights and shopping that even a decent meal could not turn it around.

Very cool to see the cables in action! Also good information about the earthquake and fires of 1906 which was interesting.

The de Young, designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron and located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, is the nation’s fifth most visited art museum. It showcases American art from the seventeenth through the twenty-first centuries, international textile arts and costumes, and art from the Americas, the Pacific, and Africa.
There was an outstanding flower show matching some art work during our visit.

I’ve never seen anything quite like this place. They have really old antique arcade games. I was expecting Pac-Man, Galaga, etc., and while they have a couple of those, most of their machines are decades earlier. I wish I had more time to spend in here.

Gorgeous facility and an extraordinary collection of both antique and modern art pieces. Allow 2-3 hours. Reasonable admissions price. Parking available a half block away at $8/hour. If you have ANY interest in Asia, then this is a fine activity for you.

Worth stopping here if you are in the vicinity and have a half hour to waste. There are a few Ghirardelli stores but they are all selling the same thing, and it’s no different than you can get from any other Ghirardelli store anywhere else in the country.

My wife and I were in town from Saint Louis, Missouri. This was a great tour. From the minute my wife and I stepped in we were warmly greeted by the staff. Jason our tour guide and bartender did a great job with a fun and informative tour. I have been a avid fan Anchor Brewery for over 20 years. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves great beer and history of brewing in San Francisco.

Don't miss going inside city hall. Beautiful and fascinating. Sure enough there was a wedding going on as apparently there often is. There was a little film in one room that gave a lot of great history.

We tour churches in Europe, so why not in the US? We took a ride share to Nob Hill and made it just in time for our 2:00 tour ($18 seniors). The docent explained the history of the church building, the replica front doors, the labyrinth, Keith Haring altar, history murals, Jacob’s Dream art installation, stained glass windows, and more. There are digital stations that give information about significant items if you can’t schedule a tour. Lots of history, architecture, and art to enjoy. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

great little find, as soon as you go inside you will be amazed how the crew lived and operated all those years ago, the smells, things to touch, sounds and feelings as you crawl through hatches and tight areas really send your senses wild, it felt very close and oppressive but we loved it.
