Love stopping by this historic site, maybe because my dad was assigned there when in the army or the history it self. Also a great place to walk around and take a picture of the site and San Francisco bridge

This by far is the best place to view the Golden gate Bridge. The mansions on the other side, the clean beach, the pink succulents, the roaring waves and the Golden gate as a backdrop, a perfect place for a picnic and just take it all in.

What a great way to spend the day! Just a 12 minute ferry ride from Tiberon. We hiked Perimeter Road around the island, about 5 miles. It's paved and mostly flat with panoramic views of the entire San Francisco Bay. We brought our binoculars and took our time. We saw some deer, hawks, harbor seals, lots of birds, and a cayote. There are many benches and picnic tables, water taps, and some restrooms along this road. Pack a lunch, there are no concessions. At one point, my boyfriend hiked a trail up to the peak and we met back up at the Immigration Station. The island has a lot of history we didn't know about. We would like to go back and explore some of the places we didn't get to explore today.

We walked the promenade from the Presidio Disney Museum to the golden gate bridge. The walk is flattish and the views were grand. It was a good time.

We saw this bridge a few times from various land marks.

You get a good view from the ferry building and also on the boat to Alcatraz.

It looks impressive at night time lit up.

This is a beautiful building. I'd love to of had time to explore it properly but was only in SF for 2 nights. Seeing it from the outside was still worthwhile. Very pretty.

This is a fun activity but be prepared, in some locations, for long line-ups. it also isn't cheap, but is so interesting it is worth while.

Amazing views and your cardio workout for the day. I slowly walked the steps while my very patient son waited for me at each landing. This climb is so worth it and at the end is Coit Tower!

A must visit to people watch in the sun. The fruit shelf is a sight to behold, especially on a Sunday.

Die Eintrittskosten von wenigen Dollars lohnen sich sehr. Mit zwei Broschüren wird die Architektur und die Ausstellung bestens beschrieben. Ein Highlight!
The entrance fee of a few dollars is well worth it. With two brochures, the architecture and the exhibition are described in the best possible way. A highlight!

Saw the play called Indecent. Very moving theater piece! No bad seats in the house. Easy to get to. I highly recommend this production.

We stayed at the Hilton Hotel which was a walking distance from the Union Square. This is a good area with many department stores like Macy’s, restaurants and theatres. The park is resplendent with palm and yew trees, flowers and stone benches.

One often sights flower vendors here along with street artists and musicians. There also are a lot of pigeons.

There are a lot of homeless people in the area. It’s best to overlook them or assist them in a small way if they are not on drugs.

Really pretty staircase. Slightly out of the way however is worth the visit. Each step is like a work of art - so much detail!

Don't just cross it, visit it. As a tourist/visitor in San Francisco, you will most likely pass or cross this street. Whether visiting the Piers, bars, restaurants, Alcatraz or any of the other many attractions around, I recommend you take a pause and appreciate the crowded beautiful bustling of this street during the day/early evening. Tip: Mind your belongings, as tourist crowds can hide pick pockets.
