Instead, we go to Armstrong, which has older and taller trees, and far less crowds for a more private experience. We will travel to a small timber town where we will purchase lunch and, weather permitting, go picnic at the beach as we travel down the spectacular California coastline. It was a long day but so worth it! Yosemite is spectacular and the guide took us to the best places.
Victor was an amazing guide (and photographer).

Had a wonderful time at Muir Woods and Sausalito! Bus picked us up on time (was even a little early so had time to finish our breakfast snack at the Cafe pickup location). Judith was our guide and she was great and very sweet. She went around the bus talking to everyone and had us introduce ourselves and where we were from....which I like. She was also knowledgeable about the area and gave us plenty of information along the way. First stop was the Golden Gate Bridge. I'd recommend in the morning for less crowds BUT the fog is very thick so you won't get a great view of the bridge at this time. Muir Woods is amazing and beautiful. Definitely take a quiet moment in Cathedral Grove. The trees are spectacular...just an overall beautiful place. Sausalito was wonderful as well. A quaint little town with shops and restaurants. If you want some good food A Taste of Rome was delicious!! We took the ferry back so you can stay as long as you'd like. Ferry leaves about every 30 or 40 minutes or so.. Ferry ride back was just a ride back but great views.

It was a nice trip except the tour operators gave inaccurate information about times. First thing was the ticket said 520 am pick up and then another email said 550 pick up. Had to call to clarify. But we got there at 5:20 just in case. Then they were about 40 minutes late on the 550 am pick up!!! So we got up at 4:30 AM for no reason. Second, on the ticket it says it’s a 3. 5 Hour Drive to get there. It took more like five hours each way. Then they said it was a 15 minute walk down to the sequoias when it was really actually a 30 minute walk. They did warn us that the walk back up was going to be difficult and it was. My suggestion is to do the Sequoia Grove at the beginning of the day when everyone has more energy. Also the bus driver was driving really fast on the way home very windy roads with no guard rail and for two hours I was white knuckling because I was scared for my life. He was driving so fast down the mountain!!!!

    Judith was amazing!
    Thank You!
Highly recommend. 10/10 as this was my 1st wine tasting experience and what better way to do it to Sonoma and Napa Valley. Bus was clean and comfortable.

I booked this tour with two of my friends, and our group was only us three plus an additional solo traveler which was great! Anthony, our guide, was very personable and gave us important information about the wineries we were visiting as well as the region as a whole. The wineries were all great and in different settings ranging from small family owned to larger with more views. The lunch stop was also plenty of time to sit down for lunch in Sonoma Square as well as shop and walk around. We chose to take the ferry from Sausalito which was a great decision, and our guide helped us find a good dinner spot there before we left. I’d highly recommend this tour to see some great spots in wine country without making one of your friends be the designated driver!

Alex was a great guide, very knowledgeable and funny.
The city tour is thorough, the Muir Woods are breath taking, and Alcatraz was instructive.
Make sure you download and save your ticket before you get to Muir Woods as there's no reception.

Overall we enjoyed the entire trip, however the focal point for us was going to Monterrey and getting to spend 2 hours there as advertised—which was cut to 1.5 hours by the driver—we barely finished our lunch before having to sprint back to the bus! That was very disappointing as we based our time on having 2 hours there to eat plus browse the shops. Note: the driver also made a few misstatements along the way. Otherwise, the trip was good and scenic.

This is a great trip to pack in many “must see” things in San Francisco. The only thing that was not great was the weather and that is no one’s fault but you can be prepared if you know about it. The temperature changes drastically once you get into wine country and turned out to be 40 degrees hotter than San Francisco. Make sure you layer your clothes with some very light ones as your bottom layer. The AC on the bus could not keep up so there was no reprieve from the heat. Some of our party reacted badly and ended up not enjoying the wine tours. An all in all great trip with Randall as a fantastic tour guide.

We enjoyed the tour very much, our tour guide was Randall. He was amusing and was very knowledgeable about San Francisco. Muir Woods was beautiful and Sausalito was very nice. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars, I felt we needed more time at our stops. Felt rushed.

Big thank you to our brilliant guide & driver, Jeffrey, for a fun day visiting Napa & Sonoma! We had a great time at both the vineyards (Nicholson Ranch & Ru Vango) with friendly & informative guides at both. Also really enjoyed our stops at Oxbow Market/Model Bakery (delicious pastries!), a photo stop near Golden Gate Bridge, plus nice leisurely lunch at Sonoma Plaza (recommend The Girl & the Fig for those visiting). Thank you Jeffrey - one of the highlights of our trip!

Nice comfy bus. The driver was very friendly. He knows all the best photo spots and let us take pictures of them. But only the time was too short in the park for the price. Otherwise it was such a memorable day.

Muir Wood is awesome. Beautiful redwoods along a nice boardwalk path. Just enough time to walk down the path aways and stop in the gift shop. Would have liked to stay and go hiking in the woods there, maybe catch the next bus back. Could have skipped Sausollito. It's a charming artsy touristy town with nothing to do except walk down the sidewalk. They time it so you will lunch there. Could have skipped and had more time with the redwoods.

Highly recommend! The whole tour our guide shared the history and fun facts about the area and California in general. He was also extremely funny and we laughed the entire time. We will definitely plan other tours with this company on our next visit!
