Drivers were friendly, knowledgeable, & never seemed to be stressed even during super busy times. - Celeste M3 contributionsI flew into BHB Airport on a Thursday afternoon ahead of the rest of my group (the folks who were driving up/renting cars), so did not have a ride out to Southwest Harbor, where we were staying. I called Point 2 Point based on the number they listed online, and they confirmed they’d send someone out in 10-15 minutes, providing me with the vehicle make and model so I knew what to expect. Linda was out at the airport to pick me up within about 20 minutes and was warm and friendly during the ride, providing me with local recs and fun tidbits about some of the spots we passed through. Got me where I needed to go safely, efficiently and with a smile! The experience was perfect! Service was good, explanation of operating the Gem was thorough. One negative was the smell of smoke which didn't bother me too much but was unexpected. I tried them after reading some bad reviews of other taxi services and I wasn't disappointed. Cost was $30 from Bar Harbor airport to the town of Bar Harbor, about 12 miles. Not sure how this compares to others. - Leanne M5 contributionsWe hiked up the Gorge Path to the summit of Cadillac Mountain with the intention of taking North Ridge trial back down. However, the sweltering heat was too much for me to hike back down so we called Ellen, who runs this brand new private shuttle service, for a lift. The brand new, spacious, air conditioned Sprinter van was heaven on the way down. Ellen was very friendly and accommodating. It was well worth the $20 (for 2 people)! We had the accomplishment of hiking up the mountain and the relaxation on the way down - the best of both worlds. Paul was funny and knowledgeable, and gave us great insights into small bits of park history that we otherwise never would have known!
