What a great experience this was for our family. Samuel was SUPERB as our guide. He has a wonderful personality and is so filled with knowledge. Truly a gem employee. We are so grateful we went and would recommend it to everybody when they are in Kauai.

A Spiritual place to mediate, to unwind and to relax.
We found a monk in the forest of Rudraksha and chatted
with him on history of Monastery.
To pray and worship in the temple of Monastery take a reservation at least
    two weeks before the visit.

Great hike. Moderate in ease level but worth the views at the top and along the way! Fairly complicated to find the entrance to hike and parking limited in the area

Great way to get some easy exercise, enjoy beautiful coastal views, and breathe the fresh sea air. Easy couple hour bike cruise on east Kaua’i.

The trail was very nice with great views. It was a very easy hike and there were just a few muddy areas. All in all a easy and quick hike.

We had a lovely time at the Smith luau. We arrived about 5:10 and enjoyed the tram tour and then we walked the beautiful grounds and took numerous photos. The imu ceremofny was educational and fun. The feast of food was very delicious. Every item that we tried was great but I'll give a shout out to the kahlua pork, the mahi mahi baked with pineapple, the cucumber salad & macaroni salad. The mai tais were tasty too. Entertainment during the feast was wonderful. The staff was attentive & friendly.
The show started at 8 and was awesome. The dancers were highly trained & professional. Wife especially loved the expressionism of the hula dancers and I especially loved the tahitian dancing. It was all beautiful. The band & singers were great and the fire performers were both frightening and amazing. I highly recommend this luau. Its authentic and not touristy. Best one that we ever experienced.

Definitely worth stopping by and checking it out for half an hour or more! Long pathway makes it fun viewing from different perspectives. In addition, across the street there's an excellent view of the Wailua river.

The Kadavul temple is a part of the Kauai Hindu monastery. It is beautiful, and is close to the Rudraksha forest. I recommend spending at least 2-3 hours here so you can enjoy the morning puja, the library and gift shop, the tour to the temple and the surrounding area of the monastery.

Takes 4-5 hours ; i have done this hike several times. difficult to navigate which makes it fun but also longer then you think. Ue something better like all trail for this hike than trip advisor. bring the right shoes - tennis shoes or good water shoes. Great waterfall at end to swim and have lunch at.

We stayed in a condo unit with a lovely view of the beach and ocean at La Nani. We would highly recommend this area. The beach is a courser sand, looks more like bird seed. It is a nice beach to walk along, see sunrises and sunsets, wade in the water and enjoy the sunshine. We saw some people snorkeling and some people surfing. Best part for us was the proximity to the condo where we stayed which made it perfect for us!

We attended 5 PM Mass on a Saturday. The church is lovely, peaceful and almost gives the impression that you are out of doors, because of all the glass. Light and airy. We were welcomed with leis and recognized as visitors, the homily was good and interesting, the lectors did a great job, and the congregation all sang. My special takeaway and food for thought: "We trust Uber to get us where we are going, we trust the doctor when he gives us a prescription, so why do we hesitate to trust God?" A simple concept, but uniquely expressed. Mahalo.
